Disposable nitrile examination gloves
Description
MediPro Black Nitrile Gloves (Small, Box of 100) are premium-quality, non-sterile, single-use black nitrile examination gloves designed to provide reliable hand protection in medical, aesthetic, tattoo, clinical and general PPE settings. Made from latex-free nitrile, they offer greater tensile strength and puncture resistance than both latex and vinyl gloves while eliminating the risk of latex protein sensitisation. The gloves feature textured fingers to enhance grip in dry and wet conditions, an ambidextrous design for easy dispensing and use, and a beaded cuff to improve donning and reduce the risk of tearing at the cuff edge. Tested and conforming to high international standards, these gloves meet Category III PPE requirements under EU Regulation 2016/425, have an AQL of 1.5, and are suitable for contact with food. With a standard length of approximately 240 mm and tailored palm width for size small, MediPro black nitrile examination gloves provide extra comfort, flexibility and dependable barrier protection for a wide range of professional applications.
Bnefits
- Premium-quality black nitrile examination gloves offering greater tensile strength and protection than both latex and vinyl gloves
- Latex-free formulation helps minimise the risk of latex protein sensitisation and allergic reactions associated with natural rubber latex
- Textured fingers improve grip and tactile control in both dry and moderately wet or oily conditions
- Ambidextrous design allows easy dispensing and use without needing left/right matching, reducing waste and simplifying inventory
- Non-sterile single-use gloves suitable for general examination, procedure and non-surgical tasks
- Beaded cuff improves donning, helps prevent roll-down and reduces the risk of tearing at the cuff
- Cat III PPE under EU Regulation 2016/425 and AQL 1.5 provide assurance of consistent barrier integrity and protective performance
- Food-safe, making the gloves suitable for applications involving food handling as well as medical and cosmetic procedures
- Nitrile material offers good puncture, tear and chemical resistance compared with standard latex or vinyl examination gloves
- Available in multiple sizes with defined palm widths to help ensure a secure and comfortable fit
Indications
- Use as examination and procedure gloves in medical, nursing, dental, aesthetic and tattoo settings where a non-sterile barrier is appropriate
- Routine PPE for clinicians and practitioners performing non-surgical procedures, injections and minor treatments

Usage
- Select the correct glove size (Small for this product) based on palm width and hand measurements to ensure a snug but comfortable fit.
- Inspect the gloves before use; do not use if the box or individual gloves show signs of damage, deterioration or contamination.
- Ensure hands are clean and dry before donning to optimise comfort and reduce the risk of tearing.
- To don, hold the glove by the cuff, insert the fingers and thumb, and pull gently over the hand and wrist, avoiding excessive force on the cuff.
- Use textured fingers to maintain secure grip on instruments, devices and surfaces, particularly in wet or oily conditions.
- Replace gloves between patients, tasks or when moving from contaminated to clean procedures to reduce cross-contamination risk.
- Do not reuse; these gloves are intended for single use only. Remove and discard after use or if visibly soiled, torn or punctured.
- To remove, grasp the outside of the cuff, peel the glove off turning it inside out, hold the removed glove in the gloved hand, then slide an ungloved finger under the cuff of the remaining glove to peel it off over the first glove, avoiding skin contact with the contaminated outer surface.
- Dispose of used gloves in accordance with local clinical waste, sharps or general waste policies depending on contamination level and regulatory requirements.
- Wash or sanitise hands after glove removal in line with hand-hygiene protocols.
Contraindications
- Not suitable for individuals with known or suspected allergies or hypersensitivity to nitrile compounds, chemical accelerators or other additives used in the glove formulation.
- Not intended or labelled for use as sterile surgical gloves; should not be used for invasive surgical procedures requiring sterile gloves.
- May not provide adequate protection against all chemicals, cytotoxic agents or highly aggressive solvents; always consult the glove’s chemical resistance data and local protocols before use with hazardous substances.
- Should not be used if visibly damaged, degraded, discoloured or past the manufacturer’s expiry date.
- Not designed for high-heat or open-flame environments; nitrile gloves may melt or burn if exposed to extreme heat.
Adverse Effects
- Occasional skin irritation or contact dermatitis in users sensitive to residual chemicals, accelerators or colourants present in nitrile gloves.
- In rare cases, allergic reactions to nitrile or glove additives, potentially presenting as redness, itching, rash or, very rarely, more severe hypersensitivity responses.
- Excessive sweating and maceration of the skin if gloves are worn for prolonged periods without breaks or adequate hand care.
- If gloves are used beyond their mechanical or chemical resistance limits (e.g. heavy abrasion, puncture risk, strong solvents), barrier failure may occur, increasing exposure risk.
- Improper removal technique can lead to contamination of the wearer’s skin with materials present on the glove surface.
Storage Conditions
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and sources of ozone or heat (such as radiators, heaters and engines).
- Keep in the original box or packaging until use to protect from dust, moisture and mechanical damage.
- Avoid storage in areas with extreme temperatures or high humidity which may accelerate material degradation.
- Do not store near solvents, oils or chemicals that could compromise the integrity of the nitrile material or printed labelling.
- Observe any specific storage temperature range and expiry date indicated on the packaging; rotate stock on a first-expire, first-out basis.
Duration
Not applicable as a medical treatment; each glove is intended for single-use episodes of short to moderate duration, typically the length of a specific examination, procedure or task, after which it should be discarded.
Onset
Barrier protection and grip are provided immediately upon donning an intact glove and maintained for the duration of appropriate single use, assuming no puncture, tear, chemical degradation or extensive mechanical stress occurs.
