Description

NIVEA SUN Protect & Moisture Sun Cream Lotion SPF50+ 200ml is a high-protection body sunscreen designed to protect against sunburn and premature skin ageing while providing long-lasting moisture. The lotion offers very high SPF50+ broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection with immediate effect and helps support the skin’s natural barrier with antioxidant Vitamin E. Its caring formula provides up to 48 hours of moisturisation, is water-resistant, and works in balance with the skin’s microbiome. The lotion is 77% readily biodegradable and respects the ocean by being free from the UV filters Octinoxate, Oxybenzone, Octocrylene and from microplastic. The bottle and cap are made with 50% recycled plastic (excluding label), aligning the product with NIVEA’s sustainability goals.

Usage

  • Apply generously and evenly to all exposed skin areas before sun exposure.
  • Use sufficient product; reducing the quantity significantly lowers the level of protection.
  • Reapply frequently, especially after swimming, sweating, or towelling.
  • Shake well before use if indicated on the label.
  • Avoid contact with eyes; if product gets into eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
  • Allow the lotion to absorb completely and avoid direct contact with textiles and hard surfaces to prevent staining.
  • Do not stay too long in the sun, even while using a sunscreen product; overexposure to the sun is a serious health risk.
  • Keep babies and young children out of direct sunlight and use protective clothing, hats and sunglasses.
  • Check expiry date and do not use expired product.

Contraindications

  • Known hypersensitivity or allergy to any of the listed ingredients (e.g. fragrance components such as Linalool, Benzyl Alcohol, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Citronellol, Coumarin)
  • Do not apply to broken, irritated or diseased skin unless advised by a healthcare professional
  • Use with caution in individuals with a history of photoallergic or contact dermatitis to sunscreens

Adverse Effects

  • Possible mild transient skin irritation, redness or stinging at the application site
  • Rarely, allergic or irritant contact dermatitis to UV filters, emollients or fragrance components
  • In case of severe irritation, rash or other unexpected reactions, discontinue use and seek medical advice

Storage Conditions

  • Store in a cool, dry place.
  • Avoid excessive heat and direct sunlight on the container.
  • Keep tightly closed when not in use.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Do not use after the expiry date printed on the packaging.
