Pre- and post-procedure skin treatment serum
Description
Alastin Regenerating Skin Nectar with TriHex Technology is an anhydrous, preservative-free, bacteriostatic cosmeceutical serum designed to support the skin before, during and after cosmetic procedures such as lasers, microneedling, chemical peels, IPL and facial surgery. The proprietary TriHex Technology peptide blend, along with Naringenin with Panthenyl Triacetate, Arnica montana extract, and the antioxidants Phytoene and Phytofluene, works with the skin’s natural regeneration process to help clear out damaged elastin and collagen, support the production of new, healthy elastin and collagen, strengthen the skin barrier and calm post-procedure skin. Used in the weeks leading up to and following treatment, it helps reduce downtime, support recovery, and improve the appearance of smoother, brighter, more youthful-looking skin.

- Arnica montana extract: botanical extract known to provide a calming effect to skin after cosmetic treatment and to support the appearance of bruised or sensitised skin.

Formulation
- Topical, anhydrous (water-free), preservative-free, bacteriostatic serum designed for facial use before and after cosmetic procedures.
- Non-comedogenic and hypoallergenic cosmeceutical formulation suitable for sensitive and post-procedure skin.
Packaging
- Typically supplied in an airless pump bottle (commonly 1.0 fl oz / ~30 ml; some distributors list larger clinic sizes such as 118 ml) designed to dispense two pumps per application.
- Outer carton printed with TriHex Technology branding, indications, key ingredients and usage directions.
- Professional, physician-dispensed packaging indicating use in conjunction with aesthetic procedures.
Usage
- Use under the direction of a healthcare professional, particularly around in-clinic cosmetic procedures.
- Pre-procedure: apply 2 pumps to the face (and/or other treatment areas) morning and evening for a period recommended by the treating clinician (commonly 2 weeks or more) prior to cosmetic treatments to help strengthen the skin barrier.
- Post-procedure: apply 2 pumps to the treated area morning and evening as soon as permitted by the clinician, continuing through the recovery phase to help soothe the skin and support recovery.
- Dispense the product onto clean, dry skin and spread evenly over the desired area; if using other skincare products, follow the regimen sequence advised by the professional (Skin Nectar is often used as the primary treatment layer on compromised skin).
- Avoid direct contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
- Continue use as part of a maintenance regimen if recommended, to help maintain treatment results and ongoing support for skin health.
Contraindications
- Known hypersensitivity or allergy to any component of the formulation (e.g. peptides, Arnica montana, Naringenin, micro-algae-derived antioxidants, silicones or other excipients).
- Application to open wounds, actively bleeding or infected areas, or immediately post-procedure where the skin barrier is not yet ready for topical products, unless specifically permitted by the treating healthcare professional.
- Use in individuals with a history of strong reactions to multiple topical cosmetic products without prior professional evaluation or patch testing.
- Caution in patients with known sensitivities to Arnica or related botanicals.
Adverse Effects
- Generally well tolerated; however, as with any topical product, mild transient reactions such as itching, stinging, warmth or temporary redness may occur, particularly when applied to recently treated skin.
- In rare cases, allergic reactions or more persistent irritation may occur (e.g. rash, swelling, increased redness); if this happens, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.
- Over-application on very fresh post-procedure skin may cause discomfort in some individuals; usage should follow practitioner-specific protocols.
Storage Conditions
- Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
- Keep the airless pump tightly closed when not in use to preserve product integrity and prevent contamination.
- Do not freeze; avoid exposing the product to extreme temperatures.
- Keep out of reach of children; for external use only.
Duration
Commonly used twice daily for several weeks before and after cosmetic procedures; may also be continued long term as part of an ongoing regimen depending on individual treatment plans and professional guidance.
Onset
Calming and soothing effects, including reduction in visible redness and discomfort, may be noted within days after procedures; improvements in skin barrier strength, texture and overall appearance typically develop progressively over weeks, with optimal results seen after consistent pre- and post-treatment use.
