Hydrogel sheet mask / overnight face mask

Description

AP Hydro Cera-Nol Face Mask is a boxed set of four Biodance Hydro Cera-nol Real Deep hydrogel sheet masks, rebranded for Aesthipharma. Each mask is formulated by solidifying a highly concentrated ampoule into a hydrogel sheet that delivers intensive soothing, moisturising and nourishing benefits. Featuring Biodance’s patented Hydro Cera-nol complex (a triple-soothing blend built around panthenol and multi-ceramides), glacial water (50,000 ppm), low molecular weight hyaluronic acid and multiple ceramide types, the mask is designed to strengthen the skin barrier, deeply hydrate and calm visible redness and irritation. It is positioned as a long-wear or overnight mask: the hydrogel becomes more transparent as the essence is absorbed, leaving the skin softer, plumper and more radiant. The formula is paraben-free, fragrance-free, non-comedogenic and not tested on animals, making it suitable for a wide range of skin types, including sensitive and acne-prone skin.

Bnefits

  • Soothes and calms irritated, red or sensitised skin through Biodance’s patented Hydro Cera-nol complex, which combines panthenol and barrier-supporting ceramides.
  • Deeply hydrates with a complex of low molecular weight and multi-type hyaluronic acids that attract and retain moisture in the skin.
  • Strengthens the skin barrier using multiple ceramides (including Ceramide NP, NS, AP, AS, EOP) plus cholesterol and phytosphingosine to support a healthy lipid matrix.
  • Glacial water (50,000 ppm) provides a cooling, refreshing feel and contributes to soothing and hydration.
  • Hydrogel sheet format is created from solidified ampoule, enabling slow, sustained delivery of active ingredients over several hours or overnight.
  • Helps reduce dryness, dullness and the appearance of redness, promoting a smoother, more radiant and well-nourished complexion.
  • Supports improvement of fine lines and overall firmness via collagen extract, adenosine and intensive hydration.
  • Paraben-free, fragrance-free and non-comedogenic formula to minimise irritation and reduce the risk of pore congestion.
  • Cruelty-free (no animal testing) as indicated by brand and retailer claims.
  • Suitable for multiple skin types (dry, combination, oily and sensitive), making it versatile for home use and as an adjunct to professional aesthetic or dermatology treatments.

Indications

  • Intensive hydrating and barrier-strengthening treatment for dry, dehydrated or moisture-compromised skin.
  • Soothing mask for redness-prone, easily irritated or sensitised skin.
  • Supportive cosmetic care for skin with impaired barrier function, after non-ablative aesthetic procedures (once skin is intact and as per clinician advice).
  • Overnight mask to improve overall radiance, smoothness and comfort of dull, tired-looking skin.
  • Adjunctive cosmetic care for acne-prone or combination skin in need of barrier repair and hydration, using a non-comedogenic formula.
  • Occasional treatment before events to help achieve plumper, more luminous, makeup-ready skin.

Packaging

  • Outer carton containing 4 individual Hydro Cera-nol Real Deep hydrogel masks.
  • Each mask is supplied in an individual sachet to maintain hygiene and prevent drying.
  • Each hydrogel mask is typically a two-part sheet (upper and lower sections) protected by plastic films for easy application.
  • Net content per mask approximately 34 g of hydrogel ampoule, for a total of about 136 g per box.
  • Packaged and labelled under the AP Hydro Cera-Nol Face Mask name for Aesthipharma while referencing Biodance Hydro Cera-nol Real Deep technology.

Usage

  • Use on clean, dry skin after cleansing and, if desired, after applying toner or a light serum.
  • Open one sachet and carefully remove the hydrogel mask pieces and protective films.
  • Apply the mask pieces to the face, aligning with facial contours and smoothing to remove air pockets and ensure close adhesion.
  • For overnight use: apply as the final step in your evening skincare routine and leave on overnight, removing the mask in the morning.
  • For daytime or shorter use: apply and leave on for approximately 3–4 hours or until the hydrogel becomes significantly more transparent, indicating that the essence has been largely absorbed.
  • After removal, gently pat any remaining serum into the skin until fully absorbed; do not rinse.
  • Follow with a moisturiser if additional occlusion or comfort is desired, especially on very dry skin.
  • Use 1–2 times per week or as needed, adjusting frequency based on skin type, tolerance and professional guidance.
  • Perform a patch test on a small area before first full-face use, particularly for sensitive or reactive skin.
  • Discontinue use and consult a professional if persistent irritation or adverse reactions occur.

Contraindications

  • Known hypersensitivity or allergy to any component of the formula, including but not limited to hyaluronic acid derivatives, ceramides, panthenol, botanical extracts, shea butter or fermentation-derived ingredients.
  • Application on broken, actively bleeding, infected or severely compromised skin should be avoided unless specifically advised by a healthcare professional.
  • Individuals with a history of reactions to sheet masks, hydrogel materials or ferments should exercise caution and perform a patch test before use.
  • Avoid direct contact with the eyes and mucous membranes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
  • Not a substitute for medical treatment of dermatologic disease; users with active skin disease should seek professional advice before incorporating new products.

Adverse Effects

  • Most users tolerate the mask well; however, transient mild redness, warmth or tingling may occur due to occlusion and active ingredients.
  • Potential for irritant or allergic contact dermatitis in sensitive individuals, especially those reactive to botanical extracts, ferments, niacinamide or certain emollients.
  • Prolonged occlusion on very oily or acne-prone areas may rarely contribute to temporary congestion or breakouts.
  • If burning, marked stinging, swelling or intense redness develop, the mask should be removed immediately, the skin rinsed if necessary, and use discontinued. Medical advice should be sought if symptoms persist.
  • As with all cosmetic sheet masks, improper storage (e.g., excessive heat, contamination) may increase irritation risk.

Storage Conditions

  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
  • Keep the outer carton and individual sachets sealed until use to prevent hydrogel drying and contamination.
  • Avoid freezing, which can damage the hydrogel matrix and reduce product performance.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Observe the expiry date printed on the packaging and use each mask before this date for optimal quality and safety.

Duration

Used intermittently as an intensive treatment, typically 1\u20132 times per week, with each mask worn for several hours or overnight. Ongoing use over weeks supports sustained improvements in hydration, barrier function and overall skin comfort.

Onset

Provides an immediate sensation of cooling and hydration with visible plumping and glow after a single use; continued use over multiple applications leads to more noticeable improvements in dryness, redness, smoothness and overall radiance.
