Soothing cream for reddened and overheated reactive skin

Description

Bioderma Créaline Fort is a fast-acting soothing cream designed for sensitive, reactive, reddened or overheated skin. It targets skin irritation caused by mechanical or chemical stressors (friction, hair removal, peels), post-procedural discomfort (post-laser, dermatologic treatments), solar erythema or other triggers of skin reactivity. Formulated to restore comfort, reinforce the skin barrier, hydrate and calm reactive skin, it increases the skin’s tolerance threshold and restores long-lasting comfort without fragrance. Suitable for women, men and children.

Bnefits

  • Rapidly soothes skin reactivity — redness, burning, heat sensations, tightness or discomfort due to irritation or post-procedure sensitivity.
  • Helps restore and strengthen the skin barrier and increase skin tolerance threshold.
  • Provides deep moisturization and reduces dehydration accompanying irritative states — humectant and emollient agents such as paraffinum liquidum (mineral oil), beeswax, propylene glycol, and glycerin-like components.
  • Non-comedogenic, fragrance-free and hypoallergenic, making it suitable even for reactive, easily sensitised or post-procedure skin.
  • Safe for use by adults, teenagers and children (not indicated for premature babies) — versatile for family use.
  • Can be applied 2–3 times daily in cases of intense redness or overheating, with decreased frequency when skin improves.

Indications

  • Reddened, heated, irritated or reactive skin due to mechanical or chemical stress (friction, razor burn, depilation, peels).
  • Post-procedure skin sensitivity (post-laser, dermatological procedures) once skin is intact.
  • Solar erythema (sun-induced redness/overheating) and mild sun-related skin irritation (after sun exposure, not open burns).
  • Reactive skin prone to redness, overheating or tightness (including those with rosacea-prone or sensitive skin).
  • Skin dehydration or barrier impairment resulting in discomfort and redness.

Usage

  • In case of redness or intense overheating, apply 2 to 3 times a day.
  • As skin improves, reduce application frequency to maintenance levels (once daily or as needed).

  • Do not apply to open wounds, bleeding or oozing skin — intended for intact skin only.
  • Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
  • Known hypersensitivity or allergy to any of the ingredients (e.g. mineral oil, paraffinum, beeswax, preservatives) — discontinue use if irritation or sensitization occurs.
  • Not recommended for use on prematurely born babies unless advised by a healthcare professional (while product is suitable for children but not premature babies).

Adverse Effects

  • Possible transient mild stinging, burning or redness in individuals with highly reactive skin or allergy to any ingredient.
  • Rare risk of allergic or irritant contact dermatitis to components such as mineral oil, paraffins, preservatives or beeswax derivatives.
  • Potential mild comedogenic risk (though product is labelled non-comedogenic) in very oily or acne-prone skin due to mineral oil and occlusive emollients.

Storage Conditions

  • Store at room temperature away from excessive heat and direct sunlight.
  • Keep tube tightly closed when not in use to preserve formulation integrity and prevent contamination.
  • Keep out of reach of children. For external use only.

Duration

Use daily as long as skin is reactive or sensitive; frequency can be reduced as skin comfort and tolerance improve. Often used over several days to weeks depending on skin condition and reactivity.

Onset

Soothing of redness, heat and discomfort usually begins shortly after the first application; more sustained improvement in skin comfort and tolerance threshold achieved over subsequent applications within days.
