Composition

  • Glycolic Acid – alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) that promotes exfoliation of the stratum corneum, improves texture and enhances penetration of other actives.

  • Undecylenoyl Phenylalanine – depigmenting agent that modulates melanogenesis and helps reduce the appearance of dark spots.

  • Use for a minimum recommended duration of 6 months for optimal depigmenting effect, or as directed by a healthcare or aesthetic professional.
  • Use as PRE and POST treatment care in combination with professional depigmenting procedures (e.g. chemical peels) according to clinic protocol.
  • Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen (e.g. INNO-DERMA Sun Defense SPF 50+ or equivalent) every morning and reapply during the day to protect treated skin from UV exposure.
  • Do not apply on irritated, broken or inflamed skin; discontinue use and consult a professional if marked irritation, redness or discomfort occurs.
  • Avoid or minimise concurrent use of other potentially irritating topical treatments (e.g. strong exfoliants or retinoids) unless specifically supervised by a professional.
  • For external use only; keep out of reach of children.

Contraindications

  • Known hypersensitivity or allergy to any of the ingredients (e.g. glycolic acid, salicylic acid, niacinamide, retinol or licorice).
  • Irritated, broken, eczematous or infected skin at the intended application site.
  • Use immediately after aggressive dermatologic procedures on the same area unless explicitly authorised by a treating professional.
  • Caution in very sensitive or reactive skin; may not be suitable for individuals who cannot tolerate acid or retinoid-based products.
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals should consult their doctor before using products containing retinol or high levels of exfoliating acids.
  • Not intended for use on the periocular mucosa or directly on the lips; avoid contact with eyes and rinse thoroughly with water if accidental contact occurs.

Adverse Effects

  • Transient burning, tingling, stinging or redness, particularly at the start of treatment or on sensitive skin due to the presence of acids and retinol.
  • Dryness, peeling or flaking in treated areas, especially when used too frequently or in combination with other exfoliating products.
  • Temporary increase in photosensitivity; inadequate sun protection may lead to irritation or worsening of pigmentation.
  • Allergic or irritant contact dermatitis in susceptible individuals; discontinue use and seek medical advice if significant or persistent irritation, swelling or rash occurs.
  • Overuse or misuse on compromised skin may increase the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation in darker phototypes.

Storage Conditions

  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  • Keep the tube tightly closed when not in use to protect the formulation from air and contamination.
  • Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures (very high or very low) that may alter product stability.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Use within the period indicated on the packaging after opening, following local cosmetic regulations for shelf life and expiry.

Duration

Minimum recommended treatment duration is approximately 6 months of regular use; can be continued longer as maintenance under professional guidance.
