Facial cleanser / exfoliating foam
Description
Dermaceutic Foamer 5 is a gentle exfoliating cleansing foam designed to purify skin, remove impurities and dead skin cells, smooth texture, refine pores, and restore radiance — suitable for dull, uneven complexion or skin with imperfections. Its mild 5% glycolic-acid formula helps accelerate cell renewal while the soothing agent enoxolone calms and reduces the risk of irritation. It is formulated to be fragrance-free, silicone-free and suitable even for sensitive skin.
Bnefits
- Gently exfoliates dead skin cells and removes impurities for a smoother, brighter complexion.
- Helps refine skin texture, even out skin tone and improve dullness or irregular complexion.
- Unclogs pores and supports clearer skin, making it useful for skin prone to congestion or imperfections.
- Leaves skin soft, smooth and radiant after cleansing, with improved skin surface over time.
- Suitable for sensitive skin — formulated to balance exfoliation with a soothing anti-inflammatory ingredient.
Indications
- Dull or uneven complexion requiring exfoliation and radiance restoration.
- Skin texture irregularities, roughness, uneven tone or pigmentation issues.
- Congested skin, enlarged or clogged pores due to dead skin build-up or impurities.
- Skin that tolerates a mild AHA-based cleanser even when sensitive — helps renewed cell turnover and smoother skin.
- Pre-treatment cleansing before more intensive cosmetic procedures or peels (as a preparatory step).
Composition
- 5% Glycolic Acid — Alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) exfoliant helping to remove dead cells, accelerate cell renewal and smooth skin texture.
- Enoxolone (glycyrrhetinic acid / liquorice-root derivative) — anti-inflammatory, soothing agent to reduce irritation risk.
- Other base & surfactant / cleansing / formulation components: Aqua (Water), Glycerin, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Hydroxide, Polysorbate 80, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Methylpropanediol, Cocamidopropyl Betainamide MEA Chloride, Potassium Sorbate, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Hydroxyethylcellulose, preservative(s) and standard cosmetic excipients.
Formulation
- Exfoliating cleansing foam / foam cleanser (liquid mousse that lathers).
- Silicone-free, fragrance-free, vegan formulation suitable for sensitive skin.
Packaging
- 100 ml pump/foam bottle (mousse dispenser) — typical for a foaming cleanser.
- Outer carton or wrapper (depending on retailer) with full INCI list and usage instructions. Implicit standard cosmetic packaging for export distribution.
Usage
- Apply a small amount of foam on dry or damp skin.
- Massage gently over face, avoiding the eye contour area.
- Leave for about 2 minutes or until you feel a mild tingling sensation, then rinse thoroughly with water.
- Use once a day (or as recommended by skin professional); avoid over-exfoliating.
- Follow-up with moisturiser/sunscreen, especially if using in daytime routine — since AHAs can increase photosensitivity. (common guidance when using AHA cleansers, implied from product type and ingredients)
Contraindications
- Do not apply to broken, irritated or inflamed skin.
- Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes; if foam enters eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.
- Not recommended for very photo-sensitive skin unless adequate photoprotection is used; avoid excessive sun exposure after use due to glycolic acid. (general AHA caution; also referenced in product Q&A).
- Use caution if you have known allergy or sensitivity to any surfactants or AHA cleansers (e.g., cocamidopropyl betaine, sodium laureth sulfate, etc.). (based on ingredient list)
Adverse Effects
- Possible mild tingling, stinging or burning sensation during or after use — especially on sensitive skin or if left on too long. (common for glycolic-acid cleansers; the manufacturer warns to rinse after tingling sensation)
- Potential redness, dryness or temporary irritation if over-used or on compromised skin barrier. (common for exfoliating acids, especially in sensitive or reactive skin)
Storage Conditions
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. (standard for cosmetic products) Estimated based on product type and packaging.
- Keep bottle tightly closed when not in use to preserve formula stability. (common general guidance for cosmetic cleansers)
Duration
Intended for regular, ongoing use as part of a skincare cleansing regimen \u2014 immediate cleansing and exfoliating action per use; for improvements in texture, tone and smoothness typically over several weeks of consistent use.
Onset
Immediate effects on skin smoothness and radiance after rinsing; exfoliating and skin-renewal benefits accumulate over repeated use (weeks).
