Description

Dermaceutic Light Ceutic is a skin-toning, unifying night cream that gently exfoliates the skin, reduces the appearance of pigment spots and restores radiance. The formula combines glycolic acid, phytic acid and a stabilised vitamin C complex to promote overnight cell renewal, harmonise the complexion and improve skin luminosity. It is recommended for dull skin and irregular complexion and is suitable for all skin types.

Composition

  • Glycolic acid solution (approximately 5.6–8% depending on market): alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that reduces corneocyte cohesion in the stratum corneum to promote homogeneous exfoliation and stimulate cell renewal.
  • Phytic acid solution (approximately 2–4% depending on market): lightening and antioxidant agent that chelates iron and copper ions, helping to regulate epidermal pigmentation processes and brighten the complexion.
  • Vitamin C complex (around 3%): stabilised vitamin C derivative (e.g., ascorbyl methylsilanol pectinate) that improves skin resistance to free radicals, helps protect collagen fibres and contributes to radiance and tone-evening.
  • Gluconolactone: polyhydroxy acid that provides additional gentle exfoliation and chelating action while supporting skin hydration.
  • Glycerin: humectant that attracts and retains moisture in the skin.
  • Caprylic/Capric triglyceride: emollient that softens the skin and improves texture.
  • Cholesterol, squalane, lecithin and sunflower seed oil: emollient and barrier-supporting lipids that enhance comfort and skin suppleness.
  • Tocopheryl acetate and tocopherol (vitamin E): antioxidants that help protect against oxidative stress.
  • Film-forming and texture agents such as pullulan, sclerotium gum, xanthan gum and silica: contribute to sensorial feel and product stability.
  • Emulsifiers and stabilisers including cetearyl alcohol, steareth-21, steareth-2, sorbitan isostearate, polysorbate 60 and hydroxyethyl acrylate/sodium acryloyldimethyl taurate copolymer.
  • Preservatives and auxiliaries such as sodium benzoate, ethylhexylglycerin, phenethyl alcohol, methylpropanediol and tetrasodium glutamate diacetate.
  • Fragrance (parfum): provides a light cosmetic scent.

Usage

  • Apply in the evening to cleansed, dry skin on the face and neck.
  • Use a small amount and spread evenly, avoiding the eye contour and mucous membranes.
  • Do not rinse; leave on overnight.
  • Introduce gradually if skin is not accustomed to acids (for example, every other night at first) and increase frequency as tolerated.
  • Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen during the day while using this product, as AHAs can increase skin sensitivity to the sun.
  • Do not combine on the same night with other strong exfoliating or retinoid treatments on sensitive skin unless advised by a professional.

Contraindications

  • Do not apply to broken, irritated, inflamed or freshly shaved skin.
  • Avoid use in individuals with known hypersensitivity or allergy to glycolic acid, other AHAs, phytic acid, vitamin C derivatives, fragrance or any listed ingredient.
  • Caution in very sensitive or reactive skin; patch test prior to first use is advisable.
  • Not recommended for use immediately before or after aggressive in-clinic procedures on compromised skin unless specifically directed by a healthcare professional.
  • Avoid use during periods of intense sun exposure if adequate photoprotection cannot be ensured.

Adverse Effects
