Usage
- Frequency: Typically used 1–2 times per week, or as recommended by a skincare professional, depending on skin type and tolerance.
- 1. Begin with clean, dry skin. Remove make-up and cleanse the face thoroughly, then pat the skin completely dry.
- 2. Dispense an appropriate amount of Dermastir Crystal Gommage Peel into clean hands.
- 3. Apply a thin, even layer to dry skin, avoiding the eye contour and mucous membranes.
- 4. Gently massage the product over the face using light circular motions for approximately one full minute. The microcrystals will provide a delicate scrubbing action while the actives work chemically.
- 5. After massaging, rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water until all residue of the product and crystals is removed.
- 6. Gently pat the skin dry with a clean towel.
- 7. Follow with toner, serum and moisturiser or sunscreen according to your usual skincare routine.
- 8. For external use only. Do not apply to eyes, eyelids or mucous membranes. If contact with eyes occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
- 9. Discontinue use if severe irritation, burning or persistent redness occurs and consult a skincare professional.
- 10. During and after regular use of lactic acid–containing products, daily broad-spectrum sun protection is strongly recommended.
Contraindications
- Do not use on broken, irritated, sunburnt or severely compromised skin barriers.
