Permanent makeup lip pigment (lip blushing pigment)
Description
Envy Lip Pigments - Wine 333 is a professional permanent makeup lip pigment from the Tina Davies x Perma Blend Envy collection. The shade Wine is described as \a bite of dark cherry\—an intense burgundy, deep red/purple pigment that heals to a rich wine color. It is an organic-based, hybrid formulation with a high pigment load designed for long-lasting, vivid results in lip blushing procedures. Wine has a cool undertone, dark pigment value, and is suitable for fair, beige, olive, caramel and dark brown skin tones (Fitzpatrick 2–4). It can be used alone for bold, cool-toned lips or mixed with any Lust or Envy lip pigment to add depth and coolness for a custom blend. Supplied as a 1/2 oz (15 ml) bottle for professional use.

Usage
- For professional permanent makeup use only by trained and appropriately licensed cosmetic tattoo artists.
- Shake the bottle thoroughly before each use to ensure the pigment is evenly dispersed.
- Dispense a small amount of pigment into a disposable pigment cup; do not work directly from the bottle.
- Use with appropriate PMU machine, needle configurations and technique for lip procedures, following brand education and local regulations.
- Can be used neat for a rich wine-colored lip, or mixed with other Lust or Envy lip pigments to adjust depth, tone and temperature.
- Perform a thorough consultation, including assessment of skin tone (Fitzpatrick 2–4 recommended range) and medical history, before treatment.
- Follow strict aseptic technique: use disposable needles, cups and barrier protection; do not reintroduce used pigment into the bottle.
- After the procedure, provide clients with aftercare instructions (e.g. keeping the area clean, avoiding makeup and excessive moisture, sun protection and not picking flaking skin).
- Store any remaining pigment in the closed original bottle; discard pigment left in cups after each client.
- Follow local regulations and manufacturer guidance regarding patch testing, contraindications and safe use.
Contraindications
- Not for use by untrained individuals or outside professional permanent makeup settings.
- Do not use on clients with known allergies or hypersensitivity to tattoo pigments or any listed ingredients (e.g. pigments, alcohols, rosin, witch hazel).
- Avoid use on compromised skin in the treatment area (active infections, open wounds, severe irritation, dermatitis, cold sores/active herpes labialis).
- Generally not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless cleared by a healthcare professional and in line with local regulations.
- Use with caution or avoid in clients with certain medical conditions (e.g. bleeding disorders, immune suppression, keloid scarring tendency) according to professional and regulatory guidance.
- Do not use if the bottle, seal or labeling appears damaged, tampered with or past the manufacturer’s expiry date.
Adverse Effects
- Temporary redness, swelling and tenderness of the lips immediately after the procedure.
- Possible bruising, dryness, flaking or peeling during the healing phase.
- Risk of allergic reaction or sensitivity to pigment components, though uncommon; patch testing may help identify hypersensitivity.
- Risk of infection if proper aseptic technique and aftercare are not followed.
- Uneven healing, color loss or color shifts if technique, depth, pigment selection or aftercare are suboptimal; may require touch-up sessions.
- As with all permanent cosmetics, removal or correction can be difficult and may require additional procedures (e.g. laser or saline removal).
Storage Conditions
- Store upright in the original, tightly closed bottle.
- Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat sources and freezing temperatures.
- Avoid contamination by not touching the bottle opening with gloved hands, needles or other tools.
- Observe the manufacturer’s recommended shelf life (typically several years unopened; shorter period once opened—often around 12 months); do not use after the expiry date.
- Keep out of reach of children and unauthorized users.
Duration
Designed as a permanent/semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo pigment for lips. Visible results are long-lasting, typically several years, with gradual fading over time depending on skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure and aftercare. Color refresh or touch-up sessions may be required every 1\u20133 years on average.
Onset
Immediate visible color on the lips at the end of the procedure, with the final healed color typically developing over 4\u20138 weeks as initial intensity softens and the skin fully heals.
