Description

Excellage Serum (30 ml) is a high-performance anti-ageing face serum from Institut Esthederm’s Excellage line, formulated to bring density, nutrition and radiance to mature and dry skin. Described by NAOS and multiple authorised retailers as the first serum that \restores time-worn connections\, it works from the cell level to the skin’s surface by reactivating cellular communication (via connexins) for a triple benefit: re-densifying the skin, nourishing the surface durably and reviving radiance. The lightweight, silky serum texture is suitable for weakened, sagging or thinning skin that lacks comfort and luminosity, and is designed to address all main types of ageing—chronological, hormonal and environmental—by combining Repair Technology, Global Cellular Protection and a smart polysaccharide with omega-rich camellia oil and anti-fatigue actives. Used daily on the face, neck and décolleté, it helps unify the complexion, smooth the appearance of wrinkles, and enhance the skin’s natural defences against external aggressions.

Usage

  • Apply to clean, dry skin on the face, neck and décolleté.
  • Use morning and/or evening, before Excellage Re-Densifying Face Cream or another suitable moisturiser.
  • Dispense 1–2 pumps of serum into the palms or fingertips.
  • Gently smooth over the face, neck and décolleté, working from the centre outwards and upwards until fully absorbed.
  • For best results on mature and dry skin, use consistently as part of a daily routine, ideally in combination with other Excellage products (e.g. Excellage Eye Care and Excellage Re-Densifying Face Cream).
  • Avoid direct contact with the eyes. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water.
  • If irritation or persistent discomfort occurs, reduce frequency of use or discontinue and consult a skincare professional or healthcare provider.

Contraindications

  • Known allergy or hypersensitivity to any of the listed ingredients (e.g. camellia oil, niacinamide, centella asiatica derivatives, soy or wheat proteins, fragrance, or preservatives such as phenoxyethanol).
  • Use on broken, irritated, eczematous or infected skin should be avoided unless directed by a healthcare professional.
  • Individuals with very reactive or sensitised skin should perform a patch test on a small area (e.g. along the jawline) prior to first full-face application.
  • Avoid direct contact with the eyes and mucous membranes; rinse thoroughly with water if accidental contact occurs.
  • As with many cosmetic products containing active complexes (niacinamide, peptides, centella extracts, vitamin C derivatives), pregnant or breastfeeding individuals who have concerns about specific ingredients should consult their healthcare provider.

Adverse Effects

  • Possible mild, transient sensations of warmth, tingling or tightness upon application, especially in sensitive or compromised skin.
  • Potential for local irritation, redness, dryness or stinging in individuals intolerant or allergic to one or more components.
  • Rare cases of allergic contact dermatitis (e.g. persistent redness, itching, swelling) may occur; if observed, discontinue use and seek medical advice.
  • Fragrance content may not be suitable for users with fragrance allergies or highly reactive skin, potentially causing stinging or irritation in the most sensitive individuals.

Storage Conditions

  • Store at room temperature, ideally between about 15 °C and 25 °C.
  • Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use to maintain formula stability.
  • Protect from excessive heat, direct sunlight and high humidity.
  • Do not freeze.
  • Use within the period after opening (PAO) indicated on the packaging and do not use after the expiry date.
  • Keep out of reach of children.

Duration

Intended for continuous, long-term daily use as part of an anti-ageing skincare routine. Visible improvements in radiance and comfort are typically observed within several weeks, while benefits in density, firmness and wrinkle appearance develop progressively over months of regular use.

Onset

Immediate sensations of hydration, comfort and enhanced radiance after application, with the skin appearing smoother and more luminous. More visible improvements in density, firmness, evenness and wrinkle appearance generally become apparent after several weeks of twice-daily use.
