Exfoliating and conditioning foot balm
Description
Exuviance Exfoliating & Conditioning Foot Balm is a high-strength, at-home exfoliating and conditioning treatment for rough, dry, scaly feet and heels. Formulated by dermatological skincare experts, this luxurious foot balm delivers all the benefits of a traditional foot peel without the unsightly peeling or flaking. A powerful yet comforting 20% AHA/PHA blend—15% Alpha Hydroxy Acids (glycolic, lactic and mandelic acids) plus 5% Polyhydroxy Acids (gluconolactone and maltobionic acid)—gently but effectively exfoliates, smooths and retextures thick, calloused skin while supporting the moisture barrier. Added Vitamin E and rich emollients help condition, soften and moisturise, leaving feet feeling renewed, comforted and silky-smooth. The non-greasy, fast-absorbing texture melts into skin and imparts a soft, radiant finish. Dermatology and allergy tested and fragrance-free, this foot balm is ideal for anyone with dry or scaly feet who wants to improve skin appearance and comfort with an easy, spa-like routine at home.

- Primary packaging: squeezable tube (typically plastic) with screw or flip-top cap for controlled dispensing onto feet.
- Outer packaging: retail carton or shelf-ready tube, depending on retailer, printed with product name, key benefits, usage instructions, ingredient list and brand details.
Usage
- Apply once or twice daily to clean, dry feet, as tolerated.
- Dispense a small amount of balm and massage thoroughly into areas of dry, rough, scaly or calloused skin on the feet and heels until fully absorbed.
- For best results, use regularly (e.g., nightly) and pair with cotton socks if desired to enhance penetration and hydration.
- Because the product contains Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs), follow sun-safety advice: use sunscreen on exposed skin, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards, particularly if applying near areas that may be sun-exposed.
- Avoid use on broken, irritated or inflamed skin. If excessive irritation occurs, reduce frequency of application (e.g., once daily or a few times per week) or discontinue use.
- Intended for external use on feet (and, if desired, other non-facial dry areas such as elbows) only. Do not apply to the face or other sensitive areas.
Contraindications
- Known allergy or hypersensitivity to any of the listed ingredients, including Alpha Hydroxy Acids (glycolic, lactic, mandelic acids), Polyhydroxy Acids (gluconolactone, maltobionic acid), parabens, colorants (Red 33, Yellow 5) or other excipients.
- Broken, bleeding, infected or severely inflamed skin on the feet; product should not be applied to open wounds or active skin infections.
- Individuals with a history of significant sensitivity to AHA or PHA exfoliants should use with caution or avoid use unless advised by a healthcare professional.
- Use with caution in people with very sensitive skin, diabetes-related foot complications or other conditions affecting foot sensation or healing; medical advice is recommended before use in such cases.
- Not recommended for use on the face, mucous membranes or genital areas.
Adverse Effects
- Mild, transient stinging, burning or tingling on application, particularly on very dry or compromised skin, may occur due to the high AHA/PHA content.
- Temporary redness, dryness or scaling may develop in some users, especially if used too frequently at first; reducing frequency or amount often alleviates this.
- In susceptible individuals, allergic contact dermatitis (redness, itching, swelling, rash) may occur; if such reactions develop, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.
- Increased photosensitivity of treated skin due to the presence of AHAs, which can raise the risk of sunburn if appropriate sun protection measures are not followed.
Storage Conditions
- Store at room temperature, typically between 15 °C and 25 °C (59 °F and 77 °F).
- Keep the tube tightly closed when not in use to protect the formulation from drying out and to maintain stability.
- Protect from excessive heat, direct sunlight and freezing temperatures.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Use within the period after opening (PAO) indicated on the packaging and do not use after the printed expiry date.
Duration
Can be used continuously as part of a regular foot-care regimen. Many users see noticeable improvements in softness and smoothness within a few days to a few weeks of consistent once- or twice-daily use; ongoing use is recommended to maintain results.
Onset
Initial softening and increased smoothness may be felt after the first few applications, with more visible reduction in roughness, dryness and callousing typically observed over several days to a few weeks of regular use.
