Medik8 H.E.O. Mask is a two-step, overnight hydrating face mask system (2 x 50ml) that combines humectants, emollients and occlusives in an optimised H.E.O. (Humectants, Emollients, Occlusives) ratio. The dual-phase gel and cream formula is clinically proven to deliver and retain intense hydration for up to 72 hours, reinforce the skin barrier to reduce transepidermal water loss, and improve the visible appearance of dryness, dullness, fine lines and crepiness while you sleep.

Usage
- Use in the evening as the final step in your skincare routine, after cleansing and application of serums or treatments.
- STEP 1: Smooth an almond-sized amount of H.E.O. Mask Step 1 (cream) over the face, neck and décolletage, avoiding the eye area.
- Allow Step 1 to absorb for a few minutes.
- STEP 2: Gently massage an almond-sized amount of H.E.O. Mask Step 2 (gel) over the same areas, on top of Step 1.
- Leave both layers on overnight; do not rinse off.
- Use 2–3 times per week, or as often as needed depending on skin dryness and tolerance.
- Can be used alongside Medik8 actives (e.g. vitamin C in the morning, retinal at night) with H.E.O. Mask applied after serums as the last step.
- Apply to intact skin only; avoid direct contact with the eyes and mucous membranes.
Contraindications
- Known hypersensitivity or allergy to any of the listed ingredients.
- Do not apply to broken, inflamed or actively infected skin.
- Caution in very reactive or compromised skin barriers; introduce gradually and patch test prior to full use.
- Not intended for use directly on the eyelids or close to the eye margin; avoid eye contact.
- As with any cosmetic product used alongside strong exfoliating acids or prescription treatments, professional or medical guidance is recommended for compromised skin.
Adverse Effects
- Possible transient sensations of warmth, tightness or mild tingling after application.
- In rare cases, temporary redness, irritation or sensitivity may occur, particularly in very reactive skin.
- If severe irritation, swelling, itching or rash occurs, discontinue use and seek medical advice.
