Description

NeoStrata Clarifying Facial Cleanser 200ml is a soap-free foaming gel cleanser formulated for normal, oily and acne-prone skin. It combines Gluconolactone (a gentle Polyhydroxy Acid), Mandelic Acid (an AHA) and Salicylic Acid (a BHA) to lightly exfoliate, refine texture, wash away excess oil and help reduce problematic bacteria on the skin’s surface. The formula also hydrates and conditions with Glycerin and Tea Tree Oil extract, leaving the skin feeling clean, refreshed and comfortable without excessive dryness.

Composition

  • Gluconolactone – Polyhydroxy Acid (PHA) that provides gentle exfoliation, hydration and antioxidant benefits.
  • Mandelic Acid – alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) with larger molecular size for milder exfoliation, helps refine surface texture and clarity.
  • Salicylic Acid – beta hydroxy acid (BHA) that helps exfoliate inside pores, targeting oiliness and blemish-prone areas.
  • Glycerin – humectant that attracts and retains moisture, helping to prevent excessive dryness from cleansing.
  • Tea Tree Oil extract – botanical extract with purifying and refreshing properties, commonly used in products for blemish-prone skin.

Usage

  • Use twice daily, morning and evening, or as directed by a skincare professional.
  • Apply a small amount of cleanser to wet skin on the face (and neck if desired).
  • Gently massage into the skin using circular motions, avoiding the immediate eye area.
  • Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and gently pat dry.
  • Follow with appropriate treatment products, moisturiser and daytime sunscreen as recommended.
  • If excessive dryness or irritation occurs, reduce frequency of use or consult a skincare professional.

Contraindications

  • Known hypersensitivity or allergy to Gluconolactone, Mandelic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Tea Tree Oil or any other ingredient in the formulation.
  • Do not use on broken, severely irritated or infected skin.
  • Caution in individuals with very sensitive or reactive skin or known intolerance to exfoliating acids; patch test before full use is advisable.
  • Avoid contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water and discontinue use if irritation persists.

Adverse Effects

  • Possible mild and transient effects such as dryness, tightness, stinging or redness, especially when first introducing the product or when used with other active treatments.
  • In some individuals, increased irritation, peeling or sensitivity may occur due to the presence of exfoliating acids; reduce frequency or discontinue if this happens.

Storage Conditions

  • Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
