PMU / Tattoo needle cartridges \u2013 sampler pack
Description
The Tina Davies PIXL Needle Cartridge Sampler Pack is a set of disposable, sterile needle cartridges designed for permanent-makeup (PMU) and tattoo procedures. The pack includes a variety of cartridge types and needle configurations — round liners, round shaders, magnums and curved flats — allowing artists to experiment with different tip styles for line work, shading, hair strokes and coverage. All cartridges feature surgical-grade stainless steel needles, no-drip tips to reduce pigment pooling, a soft finger-ledge for improved comfort and a full safety membrane to minimise backflow and contamination risk. They are compatible with universal rotary machines (not digital PMU machines) and are intended for single-use only.
Bnefits
- Offers wide variety of needle configurations (liners, shaders, magnums, curved flats) in one pack — good for brows, lips, eyeliner, areola, scar work, etc.
- No-drip tips reduce pigment pooling for better visibility and cleaner pigment application during procedures.
- Soft finger ledge improves grip and reduces hand fatigue — especially useful for long PMU sessions.
- 304 surgical-grade stainless steel needles ensure good sharpness and hygiene.
- EO gas sterilized, disposable and membrane-sealed cartridges help maintain safety and sterility standards in PMU/tattoo practice.
- Universal compatibility with rotary tattoo machines — giving flexibility across different machine brands/models.
Indications
- Permanent makeup procedures: brows, eyeliner, lips, areola pigmentation, scar camouflage, microshading, hair stroke work, etc.
- Tattoo or PMU work requiring fine detail, shading, coverage or hair-stroke techniques
- Artists testing different needle configurations to determine optimal set-up for a given procedure or skin type
- Professional use only — for licensed PMU / tattoo practitioners operating under hygiene and safety protocols
Composition
- Needles: 304 surgical-grade stainless steel
- Cartridge housing: medical-grade plastic (transparent casing) with silicone finger ledge (soft grip)
- Safety membrane to prevent back-flow of pigment and bodily fluids
- Needle gauges available: 0.25 mm, 0.30 mm, 0.35 mm (depending on cartridge type)
- Sterilization: ethylene oxide (EO) gas
Formulation
- Pre-assembled sterile single-use needle cartridge set
- Various configurations: round liners (RL), round shaders (RS), curved flats (CF), curved magnums (CM / CM variants), magnums (M), with both long-taper (LT) and medium-taper (MT) options depending on cartridge
- No-drip tip design for certain small-gauge cartridges to reduce pigment pooling and enhance precision
- Soft finger-ledge ergonomic design to reduce hand fatigue
- Standard universal cartridge interface compatible with rotary PMU/tattoo machines (not digital PMU devices)
Packaging
- Sampler pack box containing 10 needle cartridges (some packs list 15 cartridges — depending on pack variant; buyers should check listing details)
- Each cartridge individually sealed, sterile and intended for single use
- Outer box labelled with gauge and cartridge configuration info, sterilization method (EO), and single-use instructions
Usage
- Intended for professional use only by qualified PMU or tattoo artists familiar with sterilisation, hygiene protocols and safe injection or pigmentation procedures.
- Select appropriate cartridge configuration and needle size depending on desired work (fine detail, shading, hair stroke, coverage).
- Insert the cartridge into a compatible rotary tattoo/PMU machine with universal cartridge fitting, twist-lock to secure.
- Ensure needle protrusion is optimally set according to pigment depth requirements — typical settings per artist’s technique guidance.
- Use no-drip tip cartridges for improved pigment flow and precision; wipe cartridge tip periodically to prevent clogging or pigment pooling.
- Perform procedure under sterile conditions; after use, immediately dispose of the cartridge in an approved sharps container.
- Do not reuse cartridges under any circumstances.
- Follow post-procedure care procedures as per standard PMU / tattoo aftercare guidelines.
Contraindications
- Not suitable for home use by untrained individuals — use only by licensed and trained PMU/tattoo professionals.
- Do not use on clients with active skin infections, open wounds, dermatitis or other compromised skin conditions at the treatment area.
- Avoid use on clients with history of severe allergy or sensitivity to metal (nickel, chromium) or materials used in cartridge components (plastics, silicone), unless patch testing and appropriate medical clearance obtained.
- Unsuitable for procedures requiring digital PMU machines — only compatible with universal rotary machines.
Adverse Effects
- As with any PMU or tattoo procedure: possible transient redness, swelling, minor bleeding, pigment migration or uneven pigmentation depending on skin response and technique.
- Risk of infection if aseptic technique not strictly maintained or if sterile cartridge not discarded appropriately.
- Allergic reaction in sensitive individuals to metals (stainless steel) or cartridge housing materials or residual sterilisation agents (EO gas) — risk minimised by using new, sterile, single-use cartridges.
Storage Conditions
- Store unopened cartridges in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Ensure packaging remains sealed until ready for use to maintain sterility.
- Keep cartridges out of reach of unauthorised persons and children.
- Once opened, use immediately — do not store partially used cartridges.
