Description

Intraline PDO Thread T2738 Double 27G x 38mm is a twin (double) smooth polydioxanone (PDO) thread system designed to immediately tighten skin and stimulate neocollagenesis, elastin and hyaluronic acid production. Each sharp-tip, ultra-thin wall 27G needle (38 mm) carries two smooth PDO filaments twisted around each other and folded in half (2 x 7-0 PDO, approx. 50 mm thread length), creating four strands of support after insertion. Multiple threads are placed in the subcutaneous layer to form a supportive vector network, improving skin firmness, elasticity, fine lines and overall skin quality in facial and body indications. The pack contains 20 threads supplied sterile in Tyvek pouches within a foil outer.

Usage

  • For use only by trained and appropriately qualified medical professionals experienced in PDO thread techniques and facial anatomy.
  • Assess patient indications, medical history and contraindications; obtain informed consent and document treatment plan and vector design.
  • Cleanse and disinfect the treatment area thoroughly; administer appropriate local anaesthesia (topical and/or injectable) as required.
  • Using aseptic technique, open the sterile Tyvek pouch and withdraw the PDO needle-thread assembly.
  • Insert the 27G needle into the subcutaneous plane following the planned vector; advance to the desired end point while keeping to the correct depth.
  • Withdraw the needle slowly while leaving the PDO threads in place, ensuring the double/twin filament remains correctly positioned.
  • Repeat with additional threads to create a supportive mesh or vector network according to the treatment design.
  • Cut excess thread ends flush with the skin if required and gently mould or smooth the tissue with light pressure.
  • Apply post-procedure care (e.g. cooling packs, antiseptic topical if indicated) and provide written aftercare instructions (avoid vigorous facial movements, massage, extreme heat/cold, saunas, strenuous exercise and dental procedures for a specified period).
  • Dispose of all used needles and packaging as clinical sharps/waste according to local regulations; do not resterilise or reuse.

Storage Conditions
