The LightSheer DESIRE is a professional-grade 805 nm (nominal) diode laser system designed for permanent hair reduction, vascular lesions, and benign pigmented lesions. It features multiple handpieces (HS, XC, ET) with various spot sizes and integrates advanced technologies — vacuum-assisted high-speed and ChillTip™ contact-cooling — to provide efficient, comfortable treatments across different body areas and skin/hair types. Usage
- Operate only by trained, licensed medical / aesthetic professionals in a clinic or medical-spa setting.
- Select an appropriate handpiece based on treatment area size and hair/skin type (HS for large areas, XC/ET for smaller or sensitive areas).
- Shave the treatment area prior to laser session; avoid sun exposure before and after treatment.
- Use built-in cooling (ChillTip™) or vacuum-assisted mode per protocol to maximize comfort and safety.
- Use protective eyewear for both operator and patient during treatment.
- Schedule multiple sessions (commonly 6–8, spaced 4–6 weeks apart) to target hair follicles in anagen phase for optimal permanent hair reduction.
- Post-treatment: advise patient on sun protection and skin care; treat any redness or swelling per standard protocols.
Contraindications
