- Set of adhesive electrode pads (self-adhesive, reusable over multiple sessions).
- Connection cable to link electrodes to the main unit.
- Internal battery compartment (typically using standard batteries — actual battery type specified per pack).
Formulation
- Electronic transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) device delivering controlled pulsed electrical impulses through adhesive electrode pads placed on the skin, aimed at stimulating nerves and muscles to relieve pain.
Packaging
- Retail box containing: OMRON E3 Intense device, one set of electrode pads, pad holder, connection cable, batteries (as specified in pack), and user instruction manual(s).
- Product reference: HV-F021-EW / E3 Intense / 6721117 (or regional distributor code).

Usage
- Ensure skin where electrodes are to be placed is clean, dry and free of lotions or oils.
- Attach the adhesive electrode pads to the skin over the target area (back, shoulder, joint or muscle) as per the manual’s guidance.
- Connect pads to the E3 Intense device via the supplied cable and pad holder.
- Select the appropriate pre-set program for the target area on the device.
- Adjust the intensity level to a comfortable level — start with a low setting and gradually increase to a tolerable amplitude.
- Use for the duration specified in the program; typical sessions last 15–30 minutes (see device instructions).
- After use, turn off the device, remove electrode pads, clean skin if needed and store the device and pads as per manufacturer guidance.
- Do not place pads on broken, irritated or infected skin, or on the front of the neck, across the chest, near the heart or over areas with implanted electrical devices (e.g. pacemaker) unless advised by a physician.
Contraindications
- Do not use if you have an implanted electronic medical device (e.g. pacemaker), are pregnant (especially in first trimester), have epilepsy, deep vein thrombosis, or open wounds/infected skin at the electrode site.
- Avoid placing electrodes on front of neck, over heart, or near in-dwelling electrical implants.

Adverse Effects
- Possible mild skin irritation, redness or discomfort at electrode pad site, especially on sensitive skin or with prolonged use.
- Temporary tingling, muscle twitching or discomfort if intensity is set too high — should be reduced or stopped if pain occurs.
- Very rare risk of burns if electrodes are applied incorrectly, used on damaged skin or left active too long — follow instructions carefully.
Storage Conditions
- Store device, pads and accessories in a cool, dry place, away from moisture, direct sunlight and excessive heat.
- Ensure electrode pads are cleaned or replaced as per manufacturer recommendations to maintain adhesion and hygiene.
