Surgical adhesive tape

Description

Premier Finepore Surgical Tape is a soft, flexible, breathable, non-woven adhesive tape designed for secure fixation of dressings, medical devices and wound-care materials. Its porous synthetic structure allows moisture and air to circulate, helping maintain skin integrity while providing reliable adhesion. The tape is designed to minimise trauma during removal, making it suitable for sensitive skin and for use in both general medical and aesthetic post-procedure care. Each pack contains one roll measuring 1.25 cm x 9.1 m.

Bnefits

  • Soft, flexible, non-woven design suitable for sensitive or fragile skin.
  • Porous, breathable material allows moisture evaporation and reduces skin maceration.
  • Secure adhesion with gentle removal to minimise skin trauma.
  • Ideal for securing dressings, cannulas, gauze, and aesthetic aftercare coverings.
  • Latex-free and suitable for prolonged wear.
  • Lightweight and comfortable for patients, with reduced risk of irritation.

Indications

  • Fixation of dressings, pads, and wound-care materials.
  • Securing cannulas, medical tubing and small devices.
  • Post-aesthetic-procedure protection (e.g., after injections, microneedling, peels).
  • Use on sensitive skin where minimal trauma on removal is essential.
  • General clinical and first-aid use requiring a breathable adhesive tape.

Composition

  • Porous, non-woven synthetic fabric.
  • Hypoallergenic pressure-sensitive adhesive (latex-free).
  • Medical-grade adhesive backing protected until use.
  • Roll-form product on a cardboard or polymer core.

Formulation

  • Non-woven, breathable surgical adhesive tape.

Usage

  • Clean and dry the skin before application to ensure optimal adhesion.

  • Replace tape as needed based on clinical requirements or when adhesion decreases.

Contraindications

  • Do not apply to broken, infected or severely compromised skin without clinical supervision.
  • Not suitable for individuals with known sensitivity to adhesive components.
  • Avoid use where occlusion is not recommended.

  • Keep in original packaging until use.
  • Avoid exposure to moisture and contaminants.
  • Do not use if packaging is damaged.
