The Coast FL85 Dual Colour Focusing Head Torch is a powerful, front-loaded LED headlamp delivering up to 615 lumens of output with Coast’s Pure Beam Focusing technology. A primary white LED provides an ultra-wide flood beam that can be quickly focused by twisting the bezel into a long-range spot beam with a transition halo, while a secondary fixed red LED helps preserve night vision. Powered by three AAA batteries, the FL85 offers a beam distance of up to 600 ft (183 m) and runtimes of approximately 2 hours 15 minutes on high and 13 hours on low. Usage

  • Install the 3 × AAA batteries according to the polarity markings in the battery compartment, ensuring secure closure of the housing.
  • Place the headlamp on the head or over a helmet and adjust the elastic strap for a secure but comfortable fit; ensure the reflective portions are oriented outward for visibility.
  • Use the primary (white light) button to turn the headlamp on and cycle through the available white modes (typically high and low).
