Description

The LUXAMED LED Examination Lamp FOCUS on 5-feet-stand (white, powder-coated) is a modern, focusable examination and minor surgery lamp featuring energy-saving high-power LED technology. Equipped with a 10 W LED and a focusable optical system, it delivers up to approximately 80,000 lux at 30 cm with an adjustable light spot diameter from about 9 cm to 15 cm. The lamp head is made from aluminium for optimal convection and heat radiation, resulting in very low heat at the patient. A 100 cm gooseneck allows precise positioning, maintaining the selected position without drifting, and the robust, non-tilting 5-foot metal stand provides stable, mobile support with a maximum examination height of 165 cm. Colour temperature is around 5000 K with a high colour rendering index (CRI 93), ensuring bright, neutral light and excellent tissue colour differentiation for clinical examinations.

Usage

  • Unpack the lamp and check all components (lamp head, gooseneck arm, stand base, power cord) for transport damage before assembly.
  • Assemble the stand and attach the lamp column and head according to the manufacturer’s instructions, ensuring all screws and fasteners are tightened securely.
  • Connect the mains plug to a suitable power outlet (EU/UK/US as applicable) and ensure cable routing does not create a trip hazard.
  • Adjust the height of the lamp and the gooseneck position so that the light head is at the desired examination height (up to approximately 165 cm) and angle.
