Usage

  • Install the patient table on the designated mounting points of the Plinth Medical Model 511 or compatible tilt table according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Ensure the table is securely locked in place before positioning the patient or placing any items on the tray surface.
  • Position the table at a comfortable height and orientation for the patient, using the fixed or tilting configuration supplied.
  • Use the tray area to support light equipment, paperwork, therapy tools or patient belongings as required, keeping overall load within the limits specified by the manufacturer.
  • Remove the table when not required by releasing the mounting mechanism and lifting the table clear of the tilt table, taking care to support its weight during removal.
  • Clean the table regularly with appropriate detergent or disinfectant compatible with powder-coated metal surfaces, following local infection prevention protocols.
  • Inspect mounting points, fixings and tray integrity routinely; do not use the table if there is visible damage, looseness or instability.

Contraindications

  • Do not use the patient table as a primary support surface for bodyweight (e.g. do not sit, stand or lean heavily on the tray).
