Antimicrobial Permanent Makeup (PMU) Aftercare Gel

Description

Aftercare Healing Gel by Tina Davies is an antimicrobial, water-based gel specifically formulated to prevent infection and accelerate healing after permanent makeup (PMU) and cosmetic tattoo procedures. The gel uses nano-silver technology (24 PPM proprietary silver solution) to kill a broad spectrum of microorganisms while cooling, hydrating, and soothing irritated, freshly treated skin. Free from parabens and drying agents, it allows the skin to breathe, supports rapid, infection-free healing, and is suitable for all skin types. Each retail unit contains 10 individual aftercare gel sachets and 10 matching client instruction cards, making it easy for practitioners to provide clear, consistent aftercare guidance to their clients.

Usage

  • For external use only; to be used as directed by a trained permanent makeup / cosmetic tattoo professional.
  • Open one sachet with clean hands and dispense a small amount of gel.
  • Apply a thin layer of Aftercare Healing Gel to the treated area using a clean cotton swab (or clean fingertip if instructed) 3 times per day for the first 3 days after treatment.
  • Avoid rubbing or scratching the treated area; gently pat the gel on instead.
  • Cleanse the area gently with a non-scented, mild soap morning and night for approximately one week, as instructed by the practitioner.
  • Avoid exposing the treated area to hot tubs, swimming pools, saunas, or excessive moisture for the time period recommended by the practitioner.
  • Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds on the treated area during the initial healing phase; use physical protection (hat) if sun exposure is unavoidable.
  • Do not apply makeup, self-tanner, or other potentially irritating products on the treated area until the practitioner confirms it is safe to do so.
  • Discard the sachet after opening; do not store or reuse leftover gel.
  • If any signs of infection or unexpected reaction occur (increasing redness, swelling, pain, discharge), stop using the product and contact a healthcare professional.

Contraindications

  • Known hypersensitivity or allergy to silver, nano-silver, TEA, Carbomer, or any component of the formulation.
  • History of allergic or adverse reactions to similar topical antimicrobial gels.
  • Use on severely compromised, infected, or ulcerated skin unless directed by a healthcare professional.
  • Use near the eyes, inside the nose, mouth, or on mucous membranes, unless specifically directed by the practitioner for a particular procedure.
  • Not intended for use on large body surface areas or deep/open wounds without medical supervision.
  • Discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional if persistent irritation, rash, burning, or signs of allergic reaction occur.

  • Temporary redness or irritation in sensitive individuals.
  • Rare risk of allergic contact dermatitis or hypersensitivity reaction to silver, TEA, Carbomer, or other formulation components.
  • Prolonged or repeated use over very large areas may theoretically increase systemic silver exposure; product is intended for small, localised areas only.
  • Any severe or persistent adverse reactions should prompt discontinuation and medical evaluation.

  • Discard any sachets that appear damaged, swollen, discoloured, or dried out.

Onset

Cooling and soothing effects are usually felt immediately upon application; antimicrobial protection begins on contact, with visible improvements in comfort and appearance typically noted over the first few days of use.
