Topical emollient wash / soap substitute
Description
Doublebase Emollient Wash Gel 200g is a highly emollient and protective hydrating wash gel containing isopropyl myristate 15% w/w and liquid paraffin 15% w/w. It is designed for regular first-line treatment and prophylaxis of dry or chapped skin conditions that may also be itchy, red, sore or inflamed, including eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, elderly pruritus and ichthyosis. Used instead of ordinary soap or cleansers, this non-foaming, fragrance-free gel gently cleanses while softening, moisturising and protecting the skin by trapping in moisture and restoring the normal barrier function. It is steroid-free and free from SLS, parabens, MI preservatives, colourings and fragrances, and may also be used as an adjunct to other topical treatments.
