Packaging
- 500 g pump dispenser pack of Epaderm Cream.

Usage
- Always wash and dry hands thoroughly before applying Epaderm Cream.
- For use as an emollient: apply Epaderm Cream liberally to the affected areas of skin and massage well in, in the direction of hair growth to reduce the risk of blocking hair follicles.
- Use as often as required or as directed by a healthcare professional; can be reapplied throughout the day and especially after washing or bathing.
- For best results, apply immediately after washing or swimming while the skin is still slightly damp to help lock in moisture.
- For use as a skin cleanser/soap substitute: dispense a small amount of Epaderm Cream into the hands, lather under warm water and use as you would normal soap, then rinse and gently pat the skin dry.
- The cream may also be used as part of a wider emollient regime for chronic dry skin conditions alongside other prescribed therapies.
- There is no strict maximum amount; adjust the quantity used according to the size of the body area and dryness of the skin, starting with smaller amounts and building up as needed.
- Avoid contact with the eyes; if accidental contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
- Do not use if the seal is broken or the product is past its expiry date.
- If the condition worsens or any undesirable effects occur, stop using the product and consult a healthcare professional.
Contraindications
- Known hypersensitivity or allergy to any of the ingredients (yellow soft paraffin, liquid paraffin, cetomacrogol emulsifying wax, cetostearyl alcohol, macrogol cetostearyl ether, chlorocresol, glycerine or purified water).
- Do not apply to acutely infected or heavily exudative skin lesions without medical advice.
- For external use only; do not ingest.
- Avoid use on the eyes or mucous membranes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
Adverse Effects
- Occasional local hypersensitivity or allergic reactions (e.g. redness, itching, rash, irritation) may occur; discontinue use and seek medical advice if these develop.
- If the skin condition worsens or fails to improve, stop use and consult a healthcare professional.
- As with other paraffin-based emollients, repeated contact with fabrics (clothing, bedding, dressings) can increase flammability; there is a risk of severe burns if exposed to naked flames or smoking while such fabrics are present.
- Very rare reports of eye irritation if accidental contact with eyes occurs.
Storage Conditions
- Store below 25°C in a dry place.
- Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
- Keep the container tightly closed when not in use.
- Do not use after the expiry date shown on the packaging.
- Handle and dispose of containers and any unused product in accordance with local environmental procedures.
- Keep away from open flames and sources of ignition; fabrics in contact with the product may be a fire hazard even after washing.
