Description

Lipo Lab PPC Solution is a Korean injectable fat-dissolving treatment based on high-purity phosphatidylcholine (PPC) and sodium deoxycholate. It is designed to melt subcutaneous fat in targeted body areas, reduce the storage of fat, boost metabolism and help smooth cellulite while improving skin elasticity. Supplied as 10 x 10 ml ampoules, it offers a non-surgical body-contouring option for areas such as abdomen, flanks, hips, thighs, back, arms and underarms when administered by trained professionals.

Composition

Phosphatidylcholine (PPC) – 1000 mg per 10 ml (approx. 99.8% purity, German origin) – primary lipolytic agent that disrupts adipocyte membranes and emulsifies fat.
Sodium deoxycholate – 5 mg per 10 ml (approx. 98% purity, Japanese origin) – bile acid salt that dissolves and emulsifies fat cell membranes.
L-Carnitine – 200 mg per 10 ml – facilitates transport of fatty acids into mitochondria and supports fat metabolism.
Five peptide components including hexapeptide – biomimetic peptides that support skin elasticity, wrinkle improvement and tissue repair.
Fumaria officinalis flower/leaf/stem extract – herbal extract supporting detoxifying and microcirculatory effects.
Aesculus hippocastanum (horse chestnut) extract – plant extract known for vascular support and anti-oedema properties.
Pulsatilla vulgaris extract – herbal extract with soothing and anti-inflammatory properties.

Usage

For professional use only by appropriately trained and licensed medical or aesthetic practitioners experienced in injection lipolysis/intralipotherapy.
Inject into the subcutaneous fat layer; avoid intradermal or intramuscular injection.
Typical technique uses multiple small injections with 0.05–0.2 ml per point (depending on area and fat thickness) spaced around 1–1.5 cm apart to ensure even distribution.
Total volume per session for a given area is generally limited (often up to one 10 ml vial), adjusted according to patient size, treatment zone and clinical judgement.
Common protocol is to repeat treatments every 14–15 days (or approximately every 2 weeks) until the desired reduction is achieved, usually over several sessions.
Do not mix Lipo Lab PPC Solution with other injectable drugs in the same syringe unless specifically authorised by the manufacturer.
Check the ampoule/vial for integrity, clarity and expiry date before use; do not use if damaged, discoloured or containing particulate matter.
Use strict aseptic technique, including skin disinfection and the use of sterile needles or cannulas.
Advise patients to maintain good hydration, avoid alcohol and very fatty meals around treatment days, and follow any clinic-specific aftercare instructions.
Monitor the patient during and after the procedure for signs of unexpected pain, blanching, severe swelling or other adverse events and manage promptly if they occur.

Contraindications

Known hypersensitivity or allergy to phosphatidylcholine, soy-derived products, sodium deoxycholate, L-carnitine, peptides, plant extracts or any other component of the solution.
Pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Active skin infections, inflammatory skin diseases, dermatitis or open wounds at or near the intended injection site.
Severe or uncontrolled systemic illness, including significant hepatic, renal, cardiac or metabolic disease, without prior medical clearance.
Bleeding disorders or current use of strong anticoagulant or antiplatelet medications without appropriate risk assessment.
History of severe allergic reactions or anaphylaxis to injectable treatments.
Autoimmune or immunosuppressive conditions, unless carefully evaluated and approved by a physician.
Use in very obese patients or in patients with unrealistic expectations without proper counselling; not a substitute for general weight-loss management.
Use in minors unless permitted by local regulation and under specialist supervision.

Adverse Effects

Common transient local reactions, including redness, warmth, swelling and tenderness at injection sites.
Bruising and mild pain or burning sensation during and shortly after injection.
Localised induration, firmness, nodules or lumpiness as fat cells break down and tissues remodel.
Mild itching, tingling or increased sensitivity in the treated area.
Temporary feeling of heaviness or tightness in the treated region.
Occasional asymmetry or uneven contouring that may require further management or additional sessions to correct.
Rare but more serious complications, including infection, marked inflammatory reaction, allergic or hypersensitivity responses, nerve irritation or injury, and very rarely skin necrosis or scarring; these require prompt medical assessment and management.

Storage Conditions

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Typical recommended storage temperature is between about 2–25 °C as indicated on the packaging.
Do not freeze the product.
Keep ampoules/vials in their original carton until use to protect from light and contamination.
Shelf life is typically up to 24 months from the manufacturing date when stored correctly; do not use after the expiry date.
Discard any ampoule/vial that is cracked, leaking or shows changes in colour or visible particles.
Keep out of reach of children.

Duration

A typical course consists of several treatment sessions (often 3\u20138) performed at intervals of about 2 weeks, with progressive reduction of localised fat over a period of weeks to a few months. The reduction in fat cells in treated areas is considered long-lasting when a stable body weight and healthy lifestyle are maintained, although new fat accumulation remains possible.

Onset

Biochemical lipolysis begins soon after injection, but visible improvements in contour and circumference generally appear gradually over several weeks. Many patients notice changes after 2\u20134 weeks, with further improvement as additional sessions are completed and emulsified fat is cleared.
