Depigmenting and brightening home-care cream for face and body
Description
Luminescens Home Cream is a professional-strength depigmenting and brightening cream formulated for at-home use following in-clinic Luminescens mesotherapy treatments. Developed by CMed Aesthetics, it is designed to treat and prevent hyperpigmentation, melasma and uneven skin tone on the face and body. The cream combines multiple pigment-regulating and anti-inflammatory actives (including tranexamic acid, azelaic acid, arbutin, phenylethyl resorcinol, retinol, peptides and botanical extracts) with gentle peeling acids to inhibit melanogenesis, promote epidermal renewal and enhance penetration of active ingredients. It supports ongoing suppression of pigment formation between clinic sessions, helps maintain and enhance in-clinic results, and is suitable for a wide range of skin phototypes when used under professional guidance.
Bnefits
Provides home-maintenance care after Luminescens depigmentation and melasma treatments.
Targets hyperpigmentation, melasma, sunspots and uneven skin tone on face and body.
Contains multiple melanogenesis inhibitors (e.g. tranexamic acid, azelaic acid, arbutin, phenylethyl resorcinol, glabridin) for a multi-pathway lightening effect.
Incorporates gentle exfoliating acids (citric, tartaric, salicylic) to promote epidermal renewal and enhance delivery of actives to deeper layers.
Includes peptides (oligopeptide-34, Nicotiana benthamiana hexapeptide-40, sh-polypeptide-76, acetyl hexapeptide-1) to support pigment regulation and skin repair.
Hyaluronic acid, panthenol and Silybum marianum extract help maintain hydration, barrier function and soothe the skin.
Retinol and tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E) contribute to skin renewal and antioxidant protection.
Designed to minimise post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and reduce recurrence of melasma when combined with appropriate photoprotection.
Cosmetic, non-invasive home-care option that extends the benefits of in-clinic mesotherapy.
Compatible with all phototypes when used as directed, as part of a supervised depigmentation protocol.
Indications
Adjunctive home-care after in-clinic Luminescens mesotherapy depigmentation treatment.
Melasma (epidermal and mixed, as assessed by a professional).
Hyperpigmentation and dark spots (lentigines, sun-induced pigmentation, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation).
Uneven skin tone and general facial or body brightening.
Maintenance therapy to help prevent recurrence of pigment after professional treatment.
Suitable treatment areas include face, neck, décolleté and other body areas with localised dyschromia, under professional recommendation.

Usage
For external use only; avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
Use as directed by the treating clinician as part of the Luminescens depigmentation protocol.
Common protocol: apply a small amount of Luminescens Home Cream once or twice daily (often in the evening, and in some protocols morning and evening), to cleansed, dry skin on the treated areas.
Massage gently until fully absorbed; do not rinse off.
During treatment cycles, strict daily photoprotection with a broad-spectrum SPF 50+ sunscreen is required, and direct sun exposure should be minimised.
Apply continuously throughout the professional treatment period (e.g. several weeks) and for the maintenance phase as advised by the clinician.
Do not apply on broken, irritated or eczematous skin; if marked redness, burning or irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult the practitioner.
Avoid use of other potentially irritating products (strong acids, scrubs, waxing, aggressive retinoids) on the same areas unless specifically recommended by the supervising professional.
Keep out of reach of children and do not ingest.
Contraindications
Known hypersensitivity or allergy to any of the listed active ingredients or excipients (e.g. tranexamic acid, azelaic acid, salicylic acid, retinol, botanical extracts).
Active dermatitis, eczema, open wounds or severe irritation in the intended treatment area.
History of severe cutaneous reactions to depigmenting agents or chemical exfoliants.
Use on mucous membranes, in the eyes or on the eyelids is not recommended.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding: use should be decided by a healthcare professional, considering the presence of retinol and exfoliating acids in the formula.
Use in patients with very sensitive or reactive skin should be supervised and introduced gradually to monitor tolerance.
Any additional contraindications or precautions provided in the official Luminescens protocol or on the product packaging should be followed.
Adverse Effects
Mild, transient burning, stinging or tingling sensation after application, particularly in the first days of use.
Local erythema (redness), dryness or slight desquamation due to exfoliating acids and retinoid content.
In sensitive individuals, potential for irritation dermatitis, increased sensitivity or itching at the application site.
Rarely, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation if used incorrectly, overused or combined with inadequate sun protection.
Allergic or idiosyncratic reactions (e.g. swelling, severe redness, rash) to one or more active ingredients or botanical extracts.
If intense irritation, swelling, blistering, or other unexpected reactions occur, use should be discontinued and medical advice sought.
Storage Conditions
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
Keep the container tightly closed when not in use.
Do not expose to extreme temperatures (very high or below freezing) which may affect product stability.
Keep out of reach of children.
Use within the period indicated on the packaging after opening and before the stated expiry date; do not use if the product shows signs of separation, unusual odour or colour change.
Duration
Typically used for at least 4\u20136 weeks and throughout the full Luminescens treatment course; some protocols recommend application once or twice daily for a minimum of 40 days and continued as maintenance to reduce recurrence of pigmentation, according to clinician guidance and patient response.
Onset
Visible brightening and evening of skin tone are usually progressive, with initial improvements often noted after several weeks of consistent daily use and further gains observed over the full treatment cycle; full depigmenting benefit is typically evaluated after completion of the in-clinic Luminescens protocol and associated home-care period.
