Usage

Inspect the mask before each use and do not use if there are signs of damage, leakage or excessive wear.
For cooling use, place the mask in a refrigerator for a suitable period until comfortably cool; do not freeze unless the manufacturer’s instructions specifically allow this.
For warming use, gently warm the mask following the manufacturer’s guidance (e.g. in warm water or with very short, carefully controlled heating); do not overheat.
Always test the temperature of the mask on the inside of the wrist or forearm before placing over the eyes to ensure it is not too hot or too cold.
Apply over closed eyes, securing in place with the adjustable Velcro strap so that the mask sits comfortably without excessive pressure.
Use typically for up to around 10–20 minutes per session, or as feels comfortable, allowing breaks between sessions as needed.
Use only on intact skin; do not use over broken, irritated or infected skin around the eyes.
After use, wipe the surface of the mask with a mild soap solution or suitable wipe, then dry thoroughly before storage.

Contraindications

Adverse Effects

If overly hot or cold, there is a risk of local skin irritation, redness or thermal injury to the delicate peri-ocular area.
Rarely, contact sensitivity or irritation may occur from the mask materials in individuals with very sensitive skin.
In the event of leakage, the gel may cause mild irritation if it comes into contact with skin or eyes; rinse thoroughly with water and discontinue use.

Storage Conditions

Store at room temperature in a clean, dry place when not being actively cooled or warmed.
If regularly used cold, keep in a clean container or bag within the refrigerator to protect from contamination.
Do not store near sharp objects or under heavy items that could puncture or deform the mask.
Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or high temperatures which may degrade the materials.
Keep out of reach of children and pets when stored.

Duration

Used intermittently for short sessions (typically up to about 10\u201320 minutes at a time), repeated as required with adequate intervals between uses.
