Description

The CLEAN Hygiene Towel is a compact microfiber towel designed as a practical part of protective gear for emergency services and clinical staff. Made from MicroFibre TEC (85% polyester, 15% nylon), the highly absorbent towel is ideal for a quick wash or clean-up during or after operations. When not in use, the towel is stored cleanly inside its integrated, ventilated pouch, which helps protect it from dirt. The pouch includes a carabiner so it can be attached to protective clothing, gear or a locker hook. After use, the towel can be washed at 30°C and dries quickly when hung by the carabiner, making it ready for reuse in a short time.

Usage

Before use, remove the towel from the attached pouch by opening or loosening the pouch closure.
Use the towel for quick washing or drying of hands, face or other small areas as required during or after operations.
After use, if heavily soiled, rinse or wash the towel as soon as practicable. The towel is machine-washable at 30°C; follow local laundry procedures.
To dry the towel, either hang the towel or the pouch in a well-ventilated area using the integrated carabiner (e.g. on a locker hook, gear rail or similar fixing).
Ensure the towel is fully dry before long-term storage in the pouch to minimise odours and microbial growth.
When not in use and once dry, fold and stow the towel back inside the pouch. Close the pouch and secure it using the carabiner to protective clothing, belts, bags or other suitable attachment points.
Do not use bleach or aggressive solvents that could damage the microfiber or pouch materials; use mild detergent compatible with synthetic microfibers.
Inspect the towel, pouch and carabiner regularly for damage or excessive wear and replace the product when functionality or hygiene can no longer be assured.

Contraindications

Not suitable for use on open wounds or as a sterile dressing.
Individuals with known sensitivity or allergy to polyester, nylon or related synthetic fibres should avoid direct prolonged skin contact.
Do not use if the towel is visibly soiled, contaminated or has not been properly washed and dried between uses, particularly in clinical or high-hygiene environments.
Not intended for use at temperatures above the stated washing limit (30°C) where this could damage the microfiber material.

Adverse Effects

In rare cases, prolonged or repeated contact with synthetic microfibers may cause mild skin irritation in sensitive individuals.
Residual detergents or cleaning agents not thoroughly rinsed out of the towel may cause local irritation or dryness in susceptible users.
If not properly dried and stored, the towel may develop odour or microbial growth, which could pose hygiene concerns; in such cases the towel should be rewashed or replaced.

Storage Conditions

Store the clean, dry towel folded inside its pouch in a cool, dry place when not attached to gear.
Avoid prolonged storage in damp or poorly ventilated environments to reduce risk of odour or mildew.
Keep away from open flames, high heat sources and sharp objects that may melt or damage the microfiber or pouch.
When attached to protective clothing or bags, ensure the carabiner is securely fastened to prevent loss.
Do not store while wet for extended periods; allow to dry fully before long-term storage.
