Powder-free black nitrile examination and disposable protective gloves
Description
Bodyguards GL897 Nitrile Powder Free Medium Gloves in black are disposable examination and protective gloves made from synthetic nitrile rubber, designed to provide a strong yet flexible latex-free barrier for a wide range of professional applications. These non-sterile, ambidextrous gloves have a beaded cuff for added strength and to prevent liquid roll-back, textured fingertips for improved grip, and a soft, elastic feel that enhances comfort and dexterity during extended wear. With an AQL 1.5 for freedom from pinholes, compliance with EN 455 medical glove standards (Class I medical device) and EN ISO 374 chemical and micro-organism protection requirements (PPE Category III, Type C), they are suitable for hospital and clinical duties, pharmaceutical work, inspection tasks, electronics, local authority work, tattooing, and automotive maintenance and repair. Each box contains 100 medium-size black nitrile powder-free gloves.
Bnefits
- Synthetic nitrile rubber provides better puncture and abrasion resistance than natural rubber (latex) or vinyl gloves.
- Latex-free composition eliminates latex protein sensitisation, making the gloves suitable for users with latex allergies or sensitivities.
- Soft, elastic nitrile material feels cooler and more comfortable on the skin, supporting prolonged wear during long shifts.
- Textured fingertips enhance grip and dexterity, especially when handling small or delicate objects or working in slightly wet conditions.
- Beaded cuff offers additional strength at the wrist and helps prevent liquids from rolling back onto the skin or clothing.
- Powder-free formulation reduces the risk of product and surface contamination and avoids powder-related skin irritation.
- Good mechanical resistance and AQL 1.5 freedom from holes provide reliable barrier protection.
- Complies with EN 455 medical glove standards and is classified as a Class I non-sterile medical device.
- PPE Category III glove achieving Type C chemical resistance according to EN ISO 374-1, offering protection against at least one listed chemical.
- Approved for food contact, allowing safe use in food handling and preparation environments.
- Versatile glove suitable for multiple sectors including healthcare, pharmaceutical, tattoo, electronics, automotive and local authority work.
Indications

- Electronics assembly, inspection and handling where clean, powder-free gloves are required.
- Automotive maintenance and repair tasks involving oils, greases and chemical splashes within the glove’s resistance profile.
- Local authority and general inspection work needing a robust disposable glove.
- Food handling and preparation, as the glove is approved for food contact under relevant standards.
