Antioxidant serum / brightening serum
Description
Dermaceutic Tri Vita C30 is an ultra-concentrated 30 % vitamin C serum designed for dermo-revitalisation and antioxidant protection. It combines three different forms of vitamin C (L-Ascorbic Acid, Ascorbyl Silanol, Ascorbyl Ester) to penetrate multiple skin layers and offer both immediate and sustained antioxidant effects, helping to brighten skin, improve radiance, and protect against environmental stressors. The serum targets signs of ageing — fine lines, loss of elasticity, uneven tone — and supports skin health and resilience.
Bnefits
- High-strength antioxidant protection via 30 % vitamin C to neutralize free radicals and combat oxidative stress.
- Brightens and improves skin radiance, evens out complexion and reduces dullness.
- Helps reduce appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and supports skin firmness and elasticity.
- Supports collagen synthesis and skin structural integrity due to vitamin C’s known role in dermal synthesis.
- May improve skin texture and evenness, contributing to more youthful, healthier-looking skin.
Indications
- Dull or uneven skin tone needing brightening and radiance restoration.
- Premature skin ageing — fine lines, loss of elasticity, wrinkles.
- Skin exposed to oxidative stress or environmental aggressors (pollution, UV, free radicals).
- Desire for overall skin revitalisation, improved tone and protective antioxidant care.
Composition
- 15% L-Ascorbic Acid — water-soluble, potent antioxidant form of vitamin C.
- 14.5% Ascorbyl Silanol (Ascorbyl Methylsilanol Pectinate) — a stabilized form of vitamin C designed for deeper penetration and sustained antioxidant effect.
- 0.5% Ascorbyl Ester (e.g. Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate or similar vitamin C ester) — lipid-soluble form to improve skin radiance and support deeper delivery.
- Vitamin E (Tocopheryl Acetate / Tocopherol) — antioxidant complement that enhances stability and efficacy of vitamin C.
- Ferulic Acid (and esters) — antioxidant that synergises with vitamins C and E for enhanced photoprotection and prevention of free-radical damage.
- Carrier & base ingredients: Propylene Glycol, Water (Aqua), Dimethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane, Methylpropanediol, PVP, Silicones and other formulation agents for serum texture and stability.
Formulation
- High-concentration vitamin C serum (30%) designed for dermo-revitalisation and antioxidant defence.
- Lightweight, fast-absorbing serum texture that does not leave greasy residue, sinks rapidly into skin and suits layering under moisturiser.
- Fragrance-free, designed for aesthetic dermatology use.
Packaging
- 30 ml airless pump bottle to protect sensitive vitamin C from oxidation and light.
- Opaque / minimal-light packaging to preserve stability of actives (especially L-ascorbic acid).
Usage
- Apply to cleansed and dry skin on face and neck.
- Use in the evening (as recommended for initial adaptation) but can be applied morning or evening depending on skin tolerance.
- Introduce progressively into your routine if you are new to high-strength vitamin C (e.g. every other day initially).
- Avoid the eye contour area.
- If applying in the morning, always follow with a broad-spectrum sunscreen.
- Do not combine on the same night with other strong actives (like strong AHAs, retinoids, exfoliants) to minimize irritation risk.
Contraindications
- Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Avoid use if you have known sensitivity to vitamin C (especially L-ascorbic acid), silicones, or other formulation ingredients. (common tolerance precaution)
- Avoid concurrent use with other strong exfoliating (AHAs/BHAs) or retinoid-based products on the same night to prevent irritation.
Adverse Effects
- Possible transient tingling, stinging, redness or discomfort, especially upon first uses or on sensitive skin.
- Potential for increased photosensitivity — hence sunscreen recommendation when used in daytime.
- If overused or combined with other actives, risk of irritation, dryness or skin barrier strain. (common for high-strength vitamin C)
Storage Conditions
- Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat to preserve vitamin C stability.
- Keep bottle tightly closed when not in use (airless bottle) to limit oxidation.
- Use within recommended period after opening — vitamin C serums oxidize faster once opened. (common vitamin C best practice)
Duration
Recommended as a 3-month treatment; visible benefits typically develop over weeks to months with consistent use.
Onset
Initial improvement in skin radiance and brightness may be observed within a few days to weeks; more significant effects on tone, wrinkles and skin health generally after several weeks to 2\u20133 months.
