PDO lifting and rejuvenation threads (double/twin)
Description
Intraline PDO Thread T2738 Double 27G x 38mm is a twin (double) smooth polydioxanone (PDO) thread system designed to immediately tighten skin and stimulate neocollagenesis, elastin and hyaluronic acid production. Each sharp-tip, ultra-thin wall 27G needle (38 mm) carries two smooth PDO filaments twisted around each other and folded in half (2 x 7-0 PDO, approx. 50 mm thread length), creating four strands of support after insertion. Multiple threads are placed in the subcutaneous layer to form a supportive vector network, improving skin firmness, elasticity, fine lines and overall skin quality in facial and body indications. The pack contains 20 threads supplied sterile in Tyvek pouches within a foil outer.
Bnefits
Immediate mechanical tightening and lifting effect following insertion of the PDO threads.
Stimulates the body’s own production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid, improving skin quality over time.
Double (twin) smooth PDO filaments twisted and folded to provide enhanced support compared with single mono threads.
Ultra-thin wall, sharp-tip 27G needle facilitates smoother insertion and more precise placement in the subcutaneous plane.
Absorbable PDO material gradually hydrolyses over months, leaving a newly formed collagen scaffold in its place.
Improves skin firmness, elasticity, hydration and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Versatile indications for face and selected body areas (e.g. neck, jawline, perioral and periorbital regions).
Supplied in a 20-thread pack (2 x 10 inner Tyvek packs) to support multi-thread vector techniques in a single treatment session.
Indications
Non-surgical skin tightening and rejuvenation of the face and body.
Correction of minor wrinkles and fine lines.
Neck and jawline definition and tightening.
Perioral lines (smoker’s lines) improvement.
Periorbital lines and crow’s feet softening.
Forehead and glabellar line softening (in appropriately selected patients).
General improvement of skin texture, elasticity and mild laxity via mesh or vector PDO thread techniques.
Presented as 2 inner sets of 10 threads in individually sterilised Tyvek pouches.
Each pouch labelled with product type (Intraline PDO Thread T2738 Double), needle and thread dimensions (27G x 38/50 mm), lot number and expiry date.
Outer carton with branding, quantity (20 threads), storage information and regulatory markings.
Usage
For use only by trained and appropriately qualified medical professionals experienced in PDO thread techniques and facial anatomy.
Assess patient indications, medical history and contraindications; obtain informed consent and document treatment plan and vector design.
Cleanse and disinfect the treatment area thoroughly; administer appropriate local anaesthesia (topical and/or injectable) as required.
Using aseptic technique, open the sterile Tyvek pouch and withdraw the PDO needle-thread assembly.
Insert the 27G needle into the subcutaneous plane following the planned vector; advance to the desired end point while keeping to the correct depth.
Withdraw the needle slowly while leaving the PDO threads in place, ensuring the double/twin filament remains correctly positioned.
Repeat with additional threads to create a supportive mesh or vector network according to the treatment design.
Cut excess thread ends flush with the skin if required and gently mould or smooth the tissue with light pressure.
Apply post-procedure care (e.g. cooling packs, antiseptic topical if indicated) and provide written aftercare instructions (avoid vigorous facial movements, massage, extreme heat/cold, saunas, strenuous exercise and dental procedures for a specified period).
Dispose of all used needles and packaging as clinical sharps/waste according to local regulations; do not resterilise or reuse.

Storage Conditions
Store in a cool, dry place at room temperature as indicated on the packaging.
Protect from direct sunlight, moisture and extremes of temperature.
Keep in original sterile packaging until immediately before use.
Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack.
Keep out of reach of children.
Duration
PDO threads typically maintain a lifting and rejuvenating effect for approximately 6\u201312 months, with PDO material resorbed biologically over about 6\u20138 months and neocollagenesis effects potentially persisting beyond this timeframe; actual duration varies by patient, technique and treatment area.
Onset
Immediate mechanical tightening and lifting at the time of insertion, with progressive improvement in skin quality, firmness and texture over the following weeks to months as new collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid are produced.
