POCT dispensing tip / needle-free blood dispensing adapter
Description
A single-use, sterile dispensing tip designed to connect to S-Monovette® collection devices to permit hygienic, needle-free dispensing of small volumes of blood at the point-of-care (POCT) into test cartridges, strips or microcuvettes. The adapter provides a controlled, swabbable dispensing surface and a secure connection to S-Monovette® tubes/systems to minimise contamination and spillage during sample transfer.

Indications

Packaging

Usage
- Use only by trained healthcare personnel for single-patient use.
- Attach the dispensing tip to the S-Monovette® collection device per manufacturer instructions ensuring a secure fit.
- Aseptically swab the dispensing surface if required by local protocol, then dispense the required volume into the POCT test device as directed by the POCT test IFU.
- Dispose of the used tip as clinical waste per local regulations; do not reuse.
Contraindications
- Do not use if sterile packaging is damaged or opened prior to use.
- Not intended for collection or transfer of intravenous medications or large fluid volumes; use only for dispensing small diagnostic sample volumes as indicated.
- Do not reuse — single-use only.
Adverse Effects
- Risks related to POCT sample handling (e.g., sample contamination, incorrect dispensing volume leading to invalid test result) if not used per IFU or local POCT procedures.
