Description

Delight Medium Powder Free Vinyl Gloves - Clear are single-use, disposable examination gloves from the Aurelia Delight Clear PF range. Manufactured from very soft, thin, clear vinyl (PVC plastisol), they are powder free and designed to provide good tactile sensitivity and comfort while maintaining an effective barrier for routine medical, dental, care home, tattoo, beauty, food handling and general hygiene tasks. The gloves are glueless, free of thiurams, non-sterile, ambidextrous and feature a beaded cuff with straight fingers. They are CE-marked as medical examination gloves and PPE, compliant with EN 455 1–4 for medical gloves for single use and EN 420/EN 1186 for general protective and food-contact requirements, and are supplied in boxes of 100 gloves in size Medium.

Bnefits

  • Soft, thin vinyl construction provides good tactile sensitivity and dexterity for a wide range of applications.
  • Powder-free formulation reduces the risk of powder-related irritation, contamination and allergic responses.
  • Glueless and free of thiurams, minimising exposure to common glove-processing chemicals that can cause skin reactions.
  • Non-sterile, ambidextrous design with straight fingers simplifies stock management and donning.
  • Beaded cuff improves strength at the wrist and helps prevent the glove rolling down during use.
  • Clear, smooth-finish vinyl is suitable for healthcare, dental, tattoo, beauty and food-handling environments where visual cleanliness is important.
  • AQL 1.5 medical-grade examination gloves, providing a reliable barrier against contamination when used appropriately.

Usage

  • Inspect the box and gloves before use; do not use if the packaging is damaged or the gloves show visible defects.
  • Select the correct size (Medium for this product) to ensure a comfortable, secure fit and to reduce the risk of tearing.
  • With clean, dry hands, remove one glove from the dispenser and insert the hand, pulling gently over the wrist using the beaded cuff.
  • Don the second glove in the same manner, avoiding contact of the outer glove surface with non-sterile objects prior to the task.
  • Use the gloves for appropriate low to moderate risk tasks such as non-sterile examinations, routine clinical procedures, cleaning or food handling, in line with local protocols.
  • Avoid contact with sharp objects, strong solvents or chemicals known to degrade vinyl; change gloves immediately if torn, punctured or heavily contaminated.
  • After completing the task, grasp the outside of one glove at the wrist, peel it off turning it inside-out, then remove the second glove by sliding ungloved fingers inside the cuff and peeling off, trapping the first glove inside.
  • Dispose of used gloves in accordance with local waste management and infection control policies; do not reuse.
  • Wash or disinfect hands after glove removal, following hand hygiene guidelines.

Contraindications

  • Known or suspected hypersensitivity or allergic reaction to vinyl, PVC plastisol or any components and additives used in the glove formulation.
  • Situations requiring sterile surgical gloves or higher-level barrier protection than that provided by non-sterile vinyl examination gloves (e.g., invasive surgery or high-risk exposure to cytotoxic agents or certain chemicals).
  • Use with chemicals, solvents or substances that are incompatible with vinyl and could degrade the glove material; consult chemical resistance information where relevant.
  • Use beyond single-use; gloves are not designed for reprocessing, washing or re-use.

Adverse Effects

  • Possible local skin irritation or contact dermatitis in sensitised individuals due to vinyl or residual processing chemicals.
  • Excessive sweating, maceration or discomfort of the hands with prolonged wear, particularly in warm environments.
  • Reduced tactile sensitivity compared with thinner nitrile or latex gloves, which may affect fine manipulations.
  • Risk of contamination or exposure if gloves are torn, punctured, improperly donned or removed, or worn beyond their recommended use.

Storage Conditions

  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat sources and fluorescent lighting where possible.
  • Keep in the original packaging until use to protect from dust, moisture and environmental contamination.
  • Avoid storage in areas with extreme temperatures or high humidity, which may accelerate material degradation.
  • Do not store near ozone-generating equipment or chemicals that may affect vinyl.
  • Observe the manufacturer’s recommended shelf life (typically 3 years from date of manufacture) and do not use after the expiry date printed on the packaging.

Duration

Single-use only; gloves should be worn only for the duration of the task or procedure, typically from a few minutes up to less than one clinical session, and must be discarded immediately after use or if damaged or contaminated.

Onset

Provides immediate barrier protection and hygiene benefits upon correct donning of an intact glove.
