Powder-free vinyl examination gloves for infection control and general hygiene

Description

Delight SMALL Powder Free Clear Vinyl Gloves x 100 (P) are single-use, disposable examination gloves from the Aurelia Delight Clear PF range. Manufactured from very soft, thin, clear vinyl (PVC plastisol), they are powder free, latex free and designed to provide good tactile sensitivity and comfort while maintaining an effective barrier for routine medical, dental, care home, tattoo, beauty, food-handling and general hygiene tasks. The gloves are glueless, thiuram-free, non-sterile and ambidextrous, with straight fingers and a beaded cuff for easier donning and improved wrist strength. As part of the Aurelia Delight Clear PF line, they are CE-marked as Class I medical examination gloves and Category I PPE, tested to AQL 1.5 and compliant with EN 455 Parts 1–4, EN 420 and food-contact standards, and are supplied in boxes of 100 gloves in size Small.

Bnefits

  • Soft, thin vinyl construction provides good tactile sensitivity and dexterity across a wide range of applications.
  • Powder-free formulation reduces the risk of powder-related irritation, allergic reactions and product contamination.
  • Latex-free composition minimises the risk of latex-related hypersensitivity and allergy.
  • Glueless and free of thiurams, reducing exposure to common glove-processing chemicals that can provoke skin reactions.
  • Non-sterile, ambidextrous design with straight fingers simplifies stock management and glove selection.
  • Beaded cuff provides additional strength at the wrist and helps prevent gloves from rolling down during use.
  • Clear, smooth-finish vinyl presents a clean, professional appearance suitable for healthcare, food and hygiene environments.
  • Medical-grade quality with AQL 1.5 pinhole performance, providing a reliable barrier against contamination when used correctly.
  • Certified to EN 455 Parts 1–4 for medical gloves and EN 420 general glove requirements, and approved for food contact.

  • Available size range S–XL; this variant is size Small (product code 38226).

Packaging

  • Primary packaging: Dispenser box containing 100 clear powder-free vinyl examination gloves (by weight), size Small.
  • Secondary packaging: Commonly supplied as cases of 10 boxes (1,000 gloves) for bulk purchasing, depending on supplier.
  • Box labelling includes product name, size, lot number, expiry date, CE marking, regulatory symbols, standards, manufacturer details and product codes.
  • Gloves are packed flat and interleaved to allow easy single-glove dispensing from the top-opening box.

Usage

  • Check the dispenser box and gloves before use; do not use if packaging is damaged or if gloves appear discoloured, torn or otherwise defective.
  • Select the correct glove size (Small for this product) to ensure a comfortable fit and reduce the risk of tearing or hand fatigue.
  • With clean, dry hands, remove one glove from the dispenser, insert the fingers and thumb, and pull the glove gently over the wrist using the beaded cuff.
  • Don the second glove in the same way, avoiding unnecessary contact of the glove exterior with non-sterile surfaces prior to the task.
  • Use the gloves for appropriate low to moderate risk tasks such as non-sterile examinations, basic clinical procedures, cleaning or food handling, in accordance with local protocols.
  • Avoid contact with sharp instruments, abrasive surfaces, strong solvents or chemicals known to degrade vinyl; change gloves immediately if torn, punctured or heavily contaminated.
  • Limit duration of wear to the task being performed; remove and discard gloves between patients or tasks to prevent cross-contamination.
  • To remove, grasp the outside of one glove at the wrist and peel it off turning it inside out; hold the removed glove in the gloved hand, slide ungloved fingers under the cuff of the remaining glove and peel it off over the first glove to contain contamination.
  • Dispose of used gloves in line with local waste and infection-control policies; do not attempt to wash, disinfect or reuse.
  • After glove removal, perform hand washing or disinfection according to hand hygiene guidelines.

Contraindications

  • Known or suspected hypersensitivity or allergic reaction to vinyl, PVC plastisol, accelerators or other components of the glove formulation.
  • Situations requiring sterile surgical gloves or a higher level of barrier protection than provided by non-sterile vinyl examination gloves (for example, invasive surgical procedures or high-risk chemical handling).
  • Use with chemicals, solvents or substances known to be incompatible with vinyl and likely to degrade the glove; consult chemical-resistance information where applicable.
  • Any use involving glove reprocessing or reuse; the product is designed strictly for single-use applications.

Adverse Effects

  • Possible local skin irritation or contact dermatitis in sensitised individuals due to residual processing chemicals or accelerators.
  • Heat and moisture build-up with prolonged wear, which may cause discomfort, sweating or skin maceration.
  • Reduced tactile sensitivity compared with some thinner nitrile or latex gloves, potentially affecting fine manipulations.
  • Risk of contamination or exposure if gloves are torn, punctured, improperly fitted, donned or removed, or worn beyond their intended single use.

Storage Conditions

  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat sources and ozone-generating equipment.
  • Keep in the original packaging until use to protect from dust, moisture and environmental contamination.
  • Avoid storage in conditions of extreme temperature or high humidity, which can accelerate material degradation.
  • Observe the manufacturer’s stated shelf life (typically 3 years from date of manufacture) and do not use after the expiry date printed on the packaging.
  • Do not store heavy objects on top of glove boxes to prevent deformation or damage to the gloves inside.

Duration

Single-use only; gloves should be worn only for the duration of the specific task or procedure and discarded immediately after completion or if damaged or contaminated.

Onset

Immediate provision of a physical barrier for hygiene and protection once an intact glove is correctly donned.
