Description

Nytraguard ChemoPure Nitrile Gloves (Small, box of 100) are high-specification, powder-free, purple nitrile examination gloves designed for use in both clinical and laboratory environments. They are latex-free, sulphur-free and accelerator-free to minimise the risk of contact dermatitis and latex allergy, while providing excellent resistance to chemicals, chemotherapy drugs and viral penetration. The gloves offer high sensitivity, strength and puncture resistance, are ambidextrous, non-sterile and intended for single use. They are CE marked as a Class I medical device and independently certified as Category III complex design PPE.

Usage

  • Select the correct size (Small) based on user hand measurements.
  • Inspect the glove box and individual gloves for damage or defects before use; do not use damaged gloves.
  • Apply gloves to clean, dry hands; avoid sharp jewellery or long nails that may tear the gloves.
  • Ensure the glove cuff covers the wrist and overlaps with gown or clothing as required for the procedure.
  • Use for a single procedure or patient contact only; do not reuse.
  • Change gloves between patients and whenever they are torn, punctured or contaminated.
  • Dispose of used gloves safely in accordance with local clinical or laboratory waste protocols, especially after chemotherapy drug handling.
  • Store and use in accordance with facility protocols for handling cytotoxic drugs and hazardous chemicals.

Contraindications

  • Known hypersensitivity or allergy to nitrile or any component of the glove formulation.
  • Not suitable where sterile surgical gloves are required.
  • Do not use if the packaging or gloves are visibly damaged or degraded.

Adverse Effects

  • Rare cases of skin irritation or contact dermatitis may occur.
  • Prolonged occlusion of the skin may cause sweating or transient discomfort.
  • Allergic-type reactions to nitrile or minor formulation components are possible in susceptible individuals.

Storage Conditions

  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  • Keep away from sources of ozone, heat and moisture.
  • Store in the original packaging until use to protect from dust and contamination.
  • Avoid extreme temperatures which may degrade glove performance.

Duration

Single-use only; gloves should be changed between patients and procedures or immediately if damaged or heavily contaminated.
