Description

Clinell Clean Indicator Tape 100m is an eye-catching green self-adhesive indicator tape designed to clearly show when equipment and surfaces have been cleaned and are ready for use. Supplied on a 100m roll, the tape is applied to items such as commodes, bed frames, drip stands and other clinical equipment after disinfection. The write-on panel allows staff to record the date, time and name of the person responsible, providing a visible audit trail of completed cleaning. Developed in conjunction with Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, the tape supports compliance with hygiene policies and UK Department of Health High Impact Interventions relating to cleaning and decontamination of clinical equipment.

Usage

Clean and disinfect the equipment or surface according to local infection control policy.
Tear or cut an appropriate length of Clinell Clean Indicator Tape from the roll.
Apply the tape firmly to a clean, dry area of the equipment or surface.
Use a suitable pen to fill in the date, time and name or initials of the person who carried out the cleaning on the label section of the tape.
Ensure the tape is clearly visible so staff can easily confirm that cleaning has been completed.
Replace the tape after the next cleaning cycle or if it becomes damaged or detached.
