Description

The BD Vacutainer® Push Button Blood Collection Set 25G x 0.75\ with 7\ tubing and luer adapter is a sterile, single-use, winged safety blood collection set designed to reduce needlestick injuries and improve clinician and patient safety. Featuring an in-vein push-button safety mechanism, the device provides split-second, one-handed needle retraction while the needle is still in the vein, helping to minimise the risk of exposure to contaminated sharps without increasing patient discomfort. Usage

  • Verify that the product (25G x 0.75" BD Vacutainer® Push Button Blood Collection Set, 7" tubing with luer adapter) is appropriate for the patient and procedure before use.
  • Check packaging integrity and expiry date; do not use if the sterile package is damaged, opened or expired.
  • Open the sterile pack using aseptic technique and attach the luer adapter to a BD Vacutainer® tube holder or other compatible device if not pre-attached.

Contraindications
