    Description

The Welch Allyn Diagnostic Set Basic Otoscope & Coaxial Ophthalmoscope 117 LED & 250 (C-cell) is a 3.5 V diagnostic set combining a SureColor LED Coaxial Ophthalmoscope head (11720-L), a Basic Diagnostic Otoscope head (250-2/238-2 family), and a metal nickel-cadmium rechargeable power handle (71000-C) that can also run on standard C-cell batteries. The set is supplied in a hard carry case and is designed for routine ear and eye examination in primary care and specialist clinical settings. This configuration corresponds to Welch Allyn diagnostic set model 71-SS2CXX, which has replaced legacy 97200-series halogen coaxial ophthalmoscope/otoscope sets.
