- 1 x USB-C charging cable.
- 1 x user manual.
- Supplied in a branded Mast/Dragonhawk box with protective internal tray or foam.
- Some bundles from other retailers may additionally include practice skin, cartridges and accessories, but the core box typically contains the pen, USB-C cable and manual.
Usage
- Charge the Mast P60 fully via the supplied USB-C cable before first use (approximately 2–3 hours until fully charged).
- Install a new, sterile, single-use cartridge needle firmly into the grip, ensuring it locks securely.
- Adjust the stroke length (2.2–3.2mm) by following the manufacturer’s stroke adjustment mechanism, selecting the setting appropriate for the procedure (shorter for delicate work, longer for higher saturation).
- Set the desired voltage/speed on the machine using the control buttons while monitoring the curved display.
- Always prep and disinfect the treatment area and wear appropriate PPE (gloves, mask, etc.) according to hygiene protocols.
- Use gentle, controlled movements with appropriate depth and speed for the indication (e.g. soft passes for lips and brows; stronger saturation and stroke for bolder work).
- Do not exceed safe working depth or dwell time in any one area to minimise skin trauma.
- After the procedure, safely dispose of the used needle cartridge in a sharps container; never reuse cartridges.
- Clean and disinfect the machine surface and grip according to the manufacturer’s instructions and local regulations, avoiding immersion of the motor/body in liquids.
- Follow local health authority and industry standards for cross-contamination control, sterilisation and client aftercare instructions.
Contraindications
- Use on clients with active skin infections, inflammation or open wounds in the treatment area.
- Use on clients with known allergies to pigments, metals or materials used in needles or equipment without appropriate patch testing.
- Clients with blood-clotting disorders or those taking anticoagulant/antiplatelet therapy, unless cleared by a medical professional.
- Clients with a history of keloid or hypertrophic scarring in the proposed treatment area.
- Clients with uncontrolled systemic diseases or conditions that impair wound healing (e.g. uncontrolled diabetes, severe immunosuppression) without medical clearance.
- Use on pregnant or breastfeeding clients is often avoided as a precaution, depending on local regulations and practitioner policy.
- Use by untrained or unlicensed individuals where local regulations require professional licensing for tattoo/PMU procedures.
- Do not use near or on mucous membranes, the eyeball or in any area where tattooing is contraindicated by local law or professional guidance.
Adverse Effects
- Expected transient effects include redness, swelling and minor pinpoint bleeding in the treated area.
- Bruising or tenderness around the treatment site.
- Risk of infection if aseptic technique, proper sterilisation and aftercare are not strictly followed.
- Allergic or hypersensitivity reactions to pigments or topical products used in conjunction with the procedure (not to the machine itself).
- Potential for scarring, hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation if procedures are performed too aggressively or without proper technique.
- Client discomfort or pain during treatment if inadequate numbing or unsuitable settings are used.
- Device-related issues such as overheating or inconsistent performance can occur if used outside recommended voltage, time or maintenance guidelines.
Storage Conditions
- Store the machine in a clean, dry environment away from moisture, dust and direct sunlight.
- Keep the device in its protective box or stand when not in use to avoid impact damage.
- Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures (very high heat or freezing conditions).
- Ensure the device is switched off before storage and keep it out of reach of children and unauthorised users.
- Store unused needle cartridges in their original sterile packaging until they are required for treatment; do not use if the blister or seal is damaged.
Duration
Individual sessions typically last from 30 minutes to several hours depending on the PMU or tattoo procedure and treated area. The integrated battery is designed to provide more than 3 hours of continuous operation per full charge; total treatment course duration and number of sessions depend on the specific service (brows, lips, small tattoos, touch-ups).
Onset
Device performance is immediate during use; final visual results of PMU or tattoo procedures are typically visible right after treatment with refinement as the skin heals over 1\u20134 weeks, depending on technique and individual healing response.
