Disposable insulin/mesotherapy syringe with fixed needle
Description
FMS Fine Micro Syringe 1ml is a sterile, single-use insulin/mesotherapy syringe with a fixed 32G ultra-thin wall needle (8 mm) designed for highly precise and comfortable injections. The needle is engineered with a neat, multi-faceted cutting edge and a micro-polished surface to minimise tissue trauma, while the ultra-thin wall reduces extrusion force and enables a smooth, controlled injection of solutions such as botulinum toxin, hyaluronic acid, local anaesthetics, mesotherapy cocktails, PRP, hyaluronidase and insulin. Each syringe is individually wrapped for maximum sterility, supplied as a box of 100.
Bnefits
- 32G ultra-thin wall needle reduces extrusion force for smoother, more controlled injections
- Neat, multi-faceted cutting edge and micro-polished surface designed to minimise tissue trauma
- Helps reduce pain, bruising, haemorrhage and visible injection marks compared with standard insulin needles
- Fixed needle and precise 1ml graduations support accurate dosing of injectable products
- Suitable for a wide range of clinical and aesthetic applications, including botulinum toxin and mesotherapy
- Individually wrapped syringes (for 0.5 ml and 1 ml formats) to maintain sterility up to point of use
- Sterile, single-use device to lower the risk of cross-contamination and infection
Indications
- Subcutaneous injection of insulin using a 1ml insulin syringe format
- Injection of botulinum toxin preparations in aesthetic practice (according to product SmPC and local guidelines)
- Injection of collagen and hyaluronic acid-based fillers or skin boosters when a 32G, 8 mm needle is appropriate
- Injection of local anaesthetics for minor procedures
- Mesotherapy treatments, including injection of mesotherapy cocktails and PRP (platelet-rich plasma)
- Injection of hyaluronidase and other solutions that are suitable for administration with a 32G, 1ml syringe
Composition
- Stainless steel 32G needle with ultra-thin wall, 8 mm (5/16") length
- Fixed needle attached to a 1ml graduated syringe barrel (typically U-100 insulin-style graduations)
- Transparent plastic syringe barrel for visual inspection of contents
- Plunger with rubber piston to ensure smooth movement and leak-free injection
- Sterile primary packaging for each individual syringe
Formulation
- Volume: 1.0 ml syringe capacity
- Needle gauge: 32G ultra-thin wall
- Needle length: 8 mm (5/16")
- Needle type: fixed, multi-faceted bevel, micro-polished surface
- Configuration: sterile, single-use insulin/mesotherapy syringe with fixed needle
- Pack size: box of 100 individually wrapped syringes
Packaging
- Each 1ml syringe with 32G x 8 mm fixed needle is supplied individually wrapped to maintain sterility until opening
- Primary pack: sterile blister or peel-pack for each syringe
- Outer carton: box containing 100 sterile, single-use syringes
Usage
- Use only by appropriately trained healthcare professionals or patients who have been formally trained in subcutaneous or intradermal injection techniques, in accordance with local guidelines.
- Check the integrity of the individual sterile pack before use; do not use if the packaging is damaged, opened or past the expiry date.
- Prepare the medication (e.g., insulin, botulinum toxin solution, mesotherapy cocktail) according to its prescribing information and relevant clinical protocols.
- Remove the syringe from its sterile pack. Draw up the required volume of solution into the 1ml syringe, ensuring there are no large air bubbles and the dose is accurately measured against the graduations.
- Clean the injection site with an appropriate antiseptic swab and allow to dry.
- Insert the 32G x 8 mm needle into the appropriate tissue plane (typically subcutaneous for insulin or botulinum toxin, as per the product instructions) using the recommended angle and technique.
- Inject the solution slowly and steadily, taking advantage of the ultra-thin wall needle to minimise extrusion force and patient discomfort.
- Withdraw the needle and apply gentle pressure or a swab to the injection site if required.
- Immediately dispose of the used syringe in an approved sharps container. Do not recap the needle after use and do not attempt to re-sterilise or reuse the device.
Contraindications
- Do not use if the sterile packaging is damaged, opened or beyond its expiry date.
- Do not reuse or re-sterilise; this is a single-use, disposable device.
- Do not use in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the syringe or needle materials if such sensitivity is suspected.
- Do not use at or through areas of active infection, inflammation, or compromised skin integrity, in line with standard injection practice.
- Not intended for intravascular use; avoid injecting directly into blood vessels.
- Use only with solutions and indications that are appropriate for subcutaneous or intradermal injection with a 32G, 1ml syringe.
Adverse Effects
- Local pain, discomfort or stinging at the injection site.
- Minor bleeding, bruising or haematoma formation at the injection site.
- Transient erythema, swelling or tenderness at the injection site.
- Infection at the injection site if aseptic technique is not strictly followed.
- Needle-stick injuries to the user or others if sharps handling and disposal protocols are not observed.
- Inappropriate injection technique or incorrect depth may increase the risk of local tissue damage or, where applicable, vascular compromise when combined with certain injectable products.
Storage Conditions
- Store at room temperature in a clean, dry environment.
- Keep in the original outer carton and individual sterile packs until use to maintain sterility and protect from contamination.
- Protect from excessive heat, moisture and direct sunlight.
- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the packaging.
Duration
Single-use device intended for one injection session only; not suitable for reuse or prolonged indwelling use.
Onset
Not applicable to the device itself. The syringe provides immediate mechanical delivery of injectable products; onset and duration of clinical effect depend on the medication or solution administered.
