Ultra-thin wall hypodermic needle for aesthetic and medical injections
Description
JBP Nanoneedle 34G 8mm is an ultra-thin wall hypodermic needle engineered for maximum precision and minimal patient trauma. Using JBP’s original Nano Polishing and Micron Sharpness technologies, the needle has a special micro-finished bevel and an enlarged inner diameter relative to its outer diameter (34G, 0.20 mm OD, 0.10 mm ID). This design significantly reduces friction and penetration resistance, resulting in less pain, haemorrhage and swelling during injections while still allowing high-viscosity solutions to be delivered through an extra-fine needle. Each box contains 100 sterile, single-use needles (34G x 8mm) suitable for mesotherapy, placenta and collagen injections, Botox, local anaesthetics and other superficial or intradermal treatments in aesthetic dermatology and medicine.
Bnefits
- Ultra-thin wall 34G design with 0.20 mm outer diameter and 0.10 mm inner diameter enables injection of relatively high-viscosity solutions through a very fine needle.
- Special Micron Sharpness and Nano Polishing technology minimise friction and penetration resistance, reducing pain for the patient.
- Decreases haemorrhage, bruising and post-treatment swelling compared with conventional needles of the same gauge.
- Provides highly precise, controlled delivery ideal for microdroplet and superficial injection techniques.
- Supports delicate work in cosmetology and dermatology, including fine touch-ups and detailed areas of the face and body.
- Consistent Japanese engineering and quality control for reliable performance and needle-to-needle uniformity.
- Single-use sterile needles in boxes of 100 provide convenient, economical supply for busy clinics.
- Compatible with standard Luer-lock and Luer-slip syringes used in aesthetic and medical practice.
Indications
- Mesotherapy injections for skin rejuvenation and hydration.
- Injection of placenta-based solutions or other regenerative products (where licensed and indicated).
- Botulinum toxin (e.g., Botox-type products) for fine-line and hyperfunctional wrinkle treatment, according to local regulations and product labelling.
- Collagen and other dermal injectable therapies requiring precise superficial placement.
- Local anaesthetic infiltration for small treatment areas in aesthetic and minor medical procedures.
- Other superficial or intradermal injections where an extra-fine 34G, 8mm needle is appropriate and within the professional’s scope of practice.
Composition
- Medical-grade stainless steel ultra-thin wall needle shaft (34G, 0.20 mm outer diameter, 0.10 mm inner diameter).
- Specially polished bevel created using Nano Polishing and Micron Sharpness technology for low-friction penetration.
- Standard plastic hub (typically colour-coded for gauge) compatible with Luer-lock / Luer-slip syringes.
- Sterile protective needle shield (cap) covering the needle prior to use.
- Sterile primary packaging (blister or capsule) and outer cardboard box.
Formulation
- Gauge: 34G (ultra-fine).
- Length: 8 mm.
- Ultra-thin wall (UTW) design to maximise internal lumen size while maintaining fine outer diameter.
- Engineered bevel and surface finish to minimise tissue resistance and improve injection comfort.
- Supplied sterile, single-use, typically sterilised by EO gas.
- Designed specifically for medical and aesthetic injections rather than general-purpose sewing or laboratory use.
Packaging
- Box of 100 sterile, individually packed needles (34G x 8mm).
- Each needle supplied with a protective plastic shield and mounted on a Luer-compatible hub.
- Outer carton printed with gauge, length, quantity, lot number, expiry date, manufacturer, and regulatory markings (including CE mark where applicable).
- Packaged within the Cannulae/Needles/Syringes category by distributors such as Fillers Direct.
Usage
- For professional use only by appropriately trained medical and aesthetic practitioners.
- Select 34G x 8mm size based on indication, injection depth and product viscosity (suitable for superficial and intradermal injections).
- Maintain strict aseptic technique; open individual needle packaging immediately before use.
- Attach the needle securely to a compatible sterile syringe using Luer-lock or Luer-slip connection and ensure it is firmly seated.
- Prime the needle with the intended solution to remove air before injection.
- Insert the needle at the appropriate angle and depth for the chosen technique (e.g., superficial intradermal, subcutaneous microdroplet).
- Inject slowly and steadily, avoiding excessive pressure to maintain comfort and minimise tissue trauma.
- After completing the injection, safely withdraw the needle, apply gentle pressure to the injection site if needed, and cover per clinic protocol.
- Immediately dispose of used needles in an approved sharps container; do not recap by hand or reuse.
- Always follow local clinical guidelines, product SPC/IFU for the injected medication, and institutional protocols.
Contraindications
- Do not use in patients with known hypersensitivity or allergy to stainless steel or other needle materials.
- Do not use on areas with active infection, inflammation, dermatitis, open wounds or compromised skin integrity at the intended injection site.
- General contraindications to injectable treatments (e.g., certain coagulation disorders, use of specific anticoagulant/antiplatelet drugs, uncontrolled systemic disease) apply according to the medication being injected and clinical judgment.
- Not suitable for high-volume or high-pressure injections where a larger-gauge needle is required.
- Do not use if the sterile package is damaged, opened or beyond the labelled expiry date.
- Single-use only: do not resterilise, bend back into shape or reuse any needle.
Adverse Effects
- Common injection-related reactions: transient pain or stinging, erythema, slight swelling at the injection site.
- Minor bleeding or pinpoint bruising (ecchymosis) at injection sites, typically reduced compared with standard-wall needles.
- Local tenderness or discomfort after the procedure, usually self-limiting.
- Rare: infection at the injection site if aseptic technique is not properly followed.
- Rare: allergic or hypersensitivity reactions to injected substances or, very rarely, to materials in the needle.
- Potential needle-stick injuries to staff if safe handling and disposal protocols are not followed.
Storage Conditions
- Store in a clean, dry location at standard room temperature, away from direct sunlight and sources of excessive heat or moisture.
- Keep needles in their original outer carton until needed to protect from contamination and mechanical damage.
- Do not use needles that show signs of damage (bending, corrosion, compromised packaging).
- Observe and respect the expiry date printed on the box and individual units.
Duration
The needle is used for the duration of a single injection procedure and then discarded; clinical duration of effect is determined by the injected product, not the needle itself.
Onset
Mechanical benefits (reduced pain, bleeding and swelling) occur during and immediately after injection; therapeutic or aesthetic onset depends on the medication or solution being injected.
