IV / injection & infusion accessory \u2013 male/female Luer lock tip cap
Description
The BD Male-Female Luer Lock Cap (Pack of 100) is a sterile tip cap designed for safe closure of Luer-compatible syringes, connectors and open ports on intravascular devices such as infusion sets. Each cap incorporates both a male and a female Luer lock interface, allowing it to be used to close or couple compatible Luer ports as needed. Manufactured from medical-grade polypropylene and not made with natural rubber latex, DEHP or PVC, the cap helps minimise the risk of touch contamination and maintains a closed system during preparation, transport and short-term storage of IV lines and syringes. Tray-style packaging is used to reduce waste compared with individually pouched caps and to support quick, efficient aseptic application in clinical environments.
