Injectable Polynucleotide Gel / Skin Booster

Description

Mastelli Plinest Fast 1 x 2 ml is a sterile, viscoelastic polynucleotide gel for intradermal infiltration, designed to regenerate and revitalise the skin of the face, hands and scalp. As part of the Plinest care line from Mastelli, Plinest Fast sits within a face and body regenerating anti-ageing programme based on nucleotides, hyaluronic acid and vitamin E. Using PN-HPT (Polynucleotide – High Purification Technology) derived from highly purified natural-origin DNA fragments, Plinest Fast acts as a biostimulator that supports fibroblast activity, increases collagen and elastin synthesis, and improves tissue hydration. Clinically, it is used to revive tired-looking eyes, reduce dark under-eye circles, soften superficial wrinkles and fine lines, and improve skin texture and elasticity. The product is supplied as a single 2 ml pre-filled syringe for professional intradermal use by qualified practitioners.

Bnefits

• Polynucleotide-based biostimulating gel that promotes skin regeneration and repair at a cellular level.
• Designed for intradermal infiltration into the face, hands and scalp, offering versatile use in aesthetic practice.
• Revives tired-looking eyes and helps reduce the appearance of dark under-eye circles.
• Reduces superficial wrinkles and fine lines, particularly in delicate periocular and facial areas.
• Supports use before and after blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) to improve tissue quality and recovery support, where deemed appropriate by the treating surgeon.
• Improves skin firmness, elasticity and hydration as part of a comprehensive anti-ageing programme based on nucleotides, hyaluronic acid and vitamin E.

• Supportive treatment before and after blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) to help optimise tissue quality, as part of a physician-directed perioperative plan.
• General skin biorevitalisation and anti-ageing treatment as part of the Plinest care line based on nucleotides, hyaluronic acid and vitamin E.
• Adjunctive regenerative therapy in aesthetic medicine and mesotherapy protocols for face, hands and scalp, including where improved skin quality is desired around hair-bearing areas.

Composition

• Polynucleotides (PN-HPT™): highly purified deoxyribonucleotide polymers of natural origin (fish-derived DNA fractions) obtained using Mastelli’s High Purification Technology; reabsorbable and biocompatible.
• Hyaluronic acid: hydrating and supportive component within the Plinest care programme, helping to improve tissue turgor and moisture balance.
• Vitamin E (tocopherol or derivatives): antioxidant element in the Plinest care line that helps protect tissues from oxidative stress and supports skin barrier function.
• Sterile, apyrogenic, viscoelastic aqueous gel base suitable for intradermal injection; full quantitative composition is proprietary to the manufacturer.

Formulation

• Product type: Injectable polynucleotide gel / biostimulator for intradermal infiltration.
• Pharmaceutical form: Sterile, non-pyrogenic, viscoelastic gel in a pre-filled syringe.
• Volume: 2 ml per pre-filled syringe.
• Active technology: Polynucleotides with High Purification Technology (PN-HPT™) combined within the Plinest care line concept that also utilises hyaluronic acid and vitamin E.
• Route of administration: Intradermal (or very superficial subdermal) injections performed by trained medical professionals.
• Intended use: Regenerative aesthetic treatment to improve skin quality, texture, elasticity and hydration on the face, hands and scalp.

Packaging

• Outer carton containing 1 pre-filled sterile syringe of Plinest Fast with 2 ml of polynucleotide gel.
• Syringe presented in a sterile blister or tray to maintain sterility until use.
• Labelling on the carton includes product name (Plinest Fast), manufacturer (Mastelli), lot number, expiry date, sterility and single-use symbols, and basic usage information.
• Needles (commonly fine-gauge, e.g. 30G) may be supplied with some presentations or selected separately, depending on distributor and clinic protocol.

Usage

• For professional use only: Plinest Fast must be administered exclusively by suitably trained and qualified healthcare practitioners experienced in intradermal injections and aesthetic procedures.
• Perform a comprehensive medical history and skin assessment before treatment, including evaluation of indications such as periocular dark circles, fine lines, scalp or hand rejuvenation, and obtain informed consent.
• Cleanse the treatment area thoroughly and disinfect the skin with an appropriate antiseptic solution, following strict aseptic technique.
• Attach a suitable fine-gauge needle (commonly around 30G) to the pre-filled syringe under sterile conditions and expel any air bubbles prior to injection.
• Administer small aliquots of the gel intradermally using appropriate techniques (e.g. micro-papular injections, serial puncture, linear threading or fan technique) depending on the treatment area (face, hands, scalp, periocular region) and clinical objectives.
• For the delicate periocular region, use conservative volumes and meticulous technique, respecting local anatomy and safety guidelines for injections around the eyes.
• Treatment is usually delivered in a series of sessions spaced several weeks apart (for example every 2–3 weeks), with the number of sessions and total course tailored to the patient’s needs and response.
• After injection, gentle massage may be used to distribute the product evenly where appropriate, taking care not to over-manipulate especially in sensitive areas.
• Provide patients with post-treatment advice, including avoiding makeup on the treated area for several hours, minimising sun exposure, and avoiding saunas, steam rooms, vigorous exercise and alcohol for a recommended period (often 24–48 hours) after treatment.
• Dispose of all used syringes, needles and any remaining gel immediately after the procedure in approved sharps and clinical waste containers. The product is single-use only and must not be reused or resterilised.
• Plinest Fast is not intended for self-injection or home use under any circumstances.

Contraindications

• Known hypersensitivity or allergy to polynucleotides (including fish-derived DNA/PDRN), hyaluronic acid, vitamin E or any excipients associated with the Plinest care line.
• Presence of active skin infections, inflammation or dermatological conditions at or near the intended injection sites (e.g. active dermatitis, cellulitis, untreated herpes simplex).
• Systemic infection, fever or significant acute illness at the time of planned treatment.
• Pregnancy or breastfeeding, as a precaution for elective aesthetic injectable procedures.
• History of severe allergic or anaphylactic reactions to injectable biorevitalisation products or similar substances.
• Severe coagulation disorders or current use of anticoagulant or antiplatelet medications that significantly increase the risk of bleeding or bruising, unless risk–benefit has been carefully evaluated and managed by the treating physician.
• Severe autoimmune or connective tissue disorders or other serious systemic diseases where injectable regenerative treatments may be inappropriate, unless specifically assessed and cleared by a specialist.
• Any general contraindication to intradermal injections, especially in high-risk anatomical zones such as the periocular region, as determined by a qualified healthcare professional.

Adverse Effects

• Common, usually mild and transient injection-site reactions including redness (erythema), swelling (oedema), tenderness, warmth, itching or mild pain, typically resolving within hours to a few days.
• Localised bruising or small haematomas at injection sites, particularly in more vascular areas such as the periocular region or scalp.
• Temporary papules, nodules or slight irregularities at injection points, usually improving as the gel integrates and post-injection oedema subsides.
• Occasional inflammatory reactions such as prolonged redness, swelling or induration at the treatment site, which may require clinical evaluation and symptomatic management.
• Very rare risk of infection at injection sites if aseptic technique is compromised.
• As with any injectable aesthetic procedure, inadvertent intravascular injection or injection into high-risk anatomical areas can lead to serious complications; such risks are minimised when procedures are performed only by experienced clinicians using appropriate techniques.
• Patients should be instructed to contact their practitioner promptly if they experience severe or worsening pain, marked or progressive swelling, skin discolouration, visual disturbances after periocular treatment, or any other unexpected symptoms.

Storage Conditions

• Store according to the temperature range indicated on the outer packaging, typically at controlled room temperature; do not freeze.
• Keep the pre-filled syringe in its original sterile blister and carton until use to protect it from light, contamination and physical damage.
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the packaging.
• Do not use if the packaging, blister or syringe appears damaged, opened or shows signs of compromised sterility.
• Store in a secure clinical environment out of the reach of children and unauthorised persons.
• Once a syringe has been used for a procedure, discard any remaining product; do not attempt to reuse or re-sterilise.

Duration

Treatment with Plinest Fast is commonly performed as a course of multiple intradermal sessions (often 2–3 or more sessions scheduled at intervals of approximately 2–3 weeks), with the exact number of treatments and spacing determined by the treating clinician according to the patient’s indications (e.g. periocular rejuvenation, facial, hand or scalp treatments) and response. Maintenance sessions may be planned periodically once initial results are achieved, based on clinical judgement and patient goals.

Onset

Initial improvements in hydration, radiance and skin smoothness may be noticeable within a few weeks of starting treatment, with progressive enhancement of skin texture, elasticity and reduction in superficial wrinkles and dark circles as the full treatment course is completed and dermal regeneration continues over subsequent weeks. Exact onset and degree of improvement vary between individuals.
