Derma pen needle cartridges

Description

The MISSMITO Micro Needle Cartridge is a professional-grade microneedling cartridge designed for use with compatible derma pen devices. Supplied as 15 individually packed needle cartridges per box, it is intended to enhance transdermal delivery of skincare products and support a wide range of cosmetic microneedling indications, including BB Glow treatments, wrinkle reduction, facial lifting, brightening, skin rejuvenation, and the cosmetic appearance of scars, pigmentation and stretch marks. Each sterile, single-use cartridge features fine microneedles within a plastic housing that attaches to the microneedling pen, allowing controlled and uniform micro-channels in the skin to improve topical product absorption.

Bnefits

  • Enhances absorption of skincare products by creating micro-channels that allow active ingredients to penetrate more effectively into superficial skin layers.
  • Versatile microneedling tool suitable for cosmetic treatments such as BB Glow, wrinkle appearance reduction, face lifting effect, whitening and brightening, skin rejuvenation, scar appearance improvement and stretch mark appearance reduction.
  • Designed to accelerate and optimise the uptake of nutrients from serums and creams when used in combination with appropriate skincare products.
  • Each needle cartridge is individually packed for improved hygiene and convenient single-use handling.
  • Professional-grade build quality, designed to meet high standards of precision and consistency during microneedling procedures.
  • Helps support smoother, more even-looking skin texture and tone when incorporated into an appropriate skincare protocol.

Indications

  • Cosmetic microneedling procedures on the face and body performed by trained users using a compatible derma pen device.
  • BB Glow-type cosmetic treatments using appropriately formulated serums.
  • Improving the cosmetic appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Non-surgical face-lifting effect and general skin firming as part of an overall aesthetic regimen.
  • Brightening and whitening effect on dull or uneven-looking skin tone when used with suitable topical products.
  • Skin rejuvenation protocols aimed at improving texture, radiance and overall skin quality.
  • Cosmetic improvement in the appearance of scars, pigment irregularities and stretch marks when combined with appropriate skincare products.

Composition

  • Single-use microneedle cartridge compatible with an electric derma pen / microneedling device.
  • Array of fine metallic microneedles (commonly stainless steel) housed within a plastic cartridge body.
  • Cartridge designed to attach securely to the corresponding MISSMITO or compatible microneedling machine.
  • Each cartridge supplied sterile in individual packaging for one-time use.

Formulation

  • Mechanical microneedle cartridge (no active pharmaceutical or cosmetic liquid included in the cartridge itself).
  • Intended to be used in conjunction with external topical skincare products such as serums, ampoules or BB Glow formulations.
  • Cartridge design and needle configuration optimised for controlled-depth micro-injury and even coverage when used with a derma pen.
  • Packaged for professional or advanced home-use markets as a device accessory rather than a topical formula.

Packaging

  • Box containing 15 individually packed microneedle cartridges.
  • Each cartridge supplied in single sterile packaging to maintain hygiene until point of use.
  • Retail packaging typically labelled with product name (MISSMITO Micro Needle Cartridge), brand (MissMito/MISSMITO), unit quantity (15), and basic usage description.
  • Distributed from Two Face Aesthetics, Chichester Court Unit 1, Rochdale, OL16 1UG, United Kingdom, with local click-and-collect and shipping options.

Usage

  • Use only with a compatible derma pen / microneedling device and in accordance with the device manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Before use, cleanse the treatment area thoroughly and, where appropriate, disinfect the skin according to standard cosmetic or clinical protocols.
  • Open one sterile cartridge immediately before treatment; do not use if the individual package is damaged or opened.
  • Attach the MISSMITO Micro Needle Cartridge securely to the derma pen, ensuring it is locked in place and that the needle depth settings are correctly adjusted for the intended treatment and skin area.
  • Apply an appropriate sterile or professional-use skincare serum/ampoule to the skin if using the cartridge for enhanced product absorption (for example in BB Glow or skin rejuvenation protocols).
  • Using the derma pen, glide the cartridge gently over the treatment area in overlapping passes (vertical, horizontal and diagonal), maintaining even pressure and speed according to training and device guidance.
  • Avoid over-treating any single area to minimise the risk of irritation or damage; adjust depth and speed based on skin thickness and sensitivity.
  • After treatment, apply suitable post-procedure skincare (e.g. soothing, hydrating and barrier-supporting products) and advise strict use of broad-spectrum sunscreen.
  • Dispose of the used microneedle cartridge immediately in an appropriate sharps or clinical waste container; cartridges are strictly single-use and must not be reused or re-sterilised.
  • Follow local regulations and professional training regarding treatment intervals, maximum depth settings, contraindications for microneedling and aftercare.

Contraindications

  • Active skin infections, inflammation or disease at or near the intended treatment area (e.g. bacterial, viral, fungal infection, active herpes lesions, severe acne or dermatitis).
  • Open wounds, cuts, abrasions or unhealed skin lesions in the treatment zone.
  • History of keloid or hypertrophic scarring in the proposed treatment area, unless cleared by a qualified professional.
  • Use on compromised, sunburned or overly sensitised skin.
  • Known bleeding disorders or current use of systemic anticoagulant therapy, unless specifically approved by a healthcare professional.
  • Known allergy or sensitivity to metals used in microneedle manufacture (e.g. nickel in stainless steel) or to any topical products planned for use during the procedure.
  • Recent aggressive cosmetic procedures (deep chemical peels, ablative laser treatments) on the same area where healing is incomplete.
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding, or significant systemic illness, where elective microneedling procedures are not recommended without medical advice.

Adverse Effects

  • Temporary erythema (redness), swelling and mild discomfort or stinging in the treated area.
  • Pinpoint bleeding, petechiae or minor bruising, especially with deeper needle settings or on sensitive skin.
  • Dryness, flaking or a sensation of tightness in the days after treatment as the skin renews.
  • Risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, particularly in darker skin types if aftercare (including sun protection) is inadequate.
  • Infection risk if aseptic technique is not followed, equipment is reused or unsuitable products are applied to freshly microneedled skin.
  • Allergic or irritant reactions to topically applied serums or skincare products used in conjunction with the cartridge.
  • Rare risk of scarring or prolonged sensitivity if inappropriate depth, excessive passes or poor technique are used.

Storage Conditions

  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
  • Keep the box closed until use and retain cartridges in their individual sterile packaging until immediately before treatment.
  • Avoid crushing or bending the boxed cartridges to prevent damage to the needles or housings.
  • Do not use cartridges after the indicated expiry date, if present, or if packaging appears compromised.
  • Keep out of the reach of children and unauthorised users.

Duration

Individual microneedling sessions typically last from several minutes up to around 30\u201345 minutes depending on the size of the area treated and the protocol; courses often consist of multiple sessions spaced weeks apart, as determined by professional guidance and skin response.

Onset

Temporary redness and a sense of tightness are usually noticeable immediately after treatment; improvements in product absorption, radiance and skin texture can develop over days to weeks as the skin recovers and remodels, with cumulative benefits over several sessions.
