The Mortara > Burdick Compatible EKG Leadwire - 9293-046-61 is a 10-lead banana-connector ECG/EKG leadwire set designed for use with Mortara / Burdick / Welch Allyn ELI resting electrocardiographs and Wireless Acquisition Modules (WAM). Supplied as a grey, twin-pin replacement leadwire set, it provides reliable signal transmission for adult and paediatric patients and is fully compatible with a range of Mortara and Welch Allyn ECG systems that use the WAM or AM12 acquisition modules.

Usage

- Before first use and between patients, visually inspect the cable, connectors and strain-relief areas for cracks, exposed conductors or other damage; do not use if damaged.
- Connect the proximal twin-pin connector block firmly into the WAM/AM12 or corresponding ECG input, ensuring it is fully seated and latched as described in the device user manual.
- Attach the distal banana connectors to appropriate ECG electrodes or adapters (e.g. alligator clips, snap or tab adapters) according to the patient lead configuration.
- Place electrodes on the patient at the correct anatomical locations for a standard 12-lead ECG; match each leadwire label and colour to the appropriate electrode position.
- Ensure cables are routed to avoid tripping hazards and to minimise pulling or tension on the patient’s skin and electrodes.
