Description

Rumi is a handheld, home-use facial device developed by Korean medical aesthetic manufacturer ShenB. It combines five technologies—electroporation, radiofrequency (RF), electrical muscle stimulation (EMS), LED phototherapy (red, blue and yellow light) and high-frequency vibration—to treat different layers of the face from the skin surface down to the muscles. Daily treatments of around 5–10 minutes aim to boost collagen and elastin production, tighten and lift the skin, improve tone and moisture, enhance penetration of topical skincare and provide anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial benefits for clearer, more radiant skin.

Usage

  • Ensure skin is clean and free of heavy makeup; lightly apply your preferred serum, gel or lotion compatible with device use.
  • Turn on the Rumi device and select the desired mode or intensity according to the user manual and skin needs.
  • Glide the device slowly over the face, following the recommended lifting directions (from centre of face outwards and upwards), avoiding the eyelids and thyroid/Adam’s apple area.
  • Typical use is around 5–10 minutes per treatment session, once per day or as recommended by the manufacturer or clinic.
  • Use LED/EMS/RF functions only on intact, healthy skin and discontinue use on areas of irritation or breakouts that become painful.
  • Do not use on wet or dripping skin; use on lightly coated skin with a compatible product to ensure good contact.
  • After treatment, gently massage in any remaining skincare product and follow with moisturiser and SPF during the day.
  • Clean the device head with a soft, slightly damp cloth after each use; do not immerse in water or use harsh detergents.
  • Charge the device as directed (via USB or provided adapter) and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Contraindications

Adverse Effects
