Usage
Attach the rail clamp securely to a compatible wall-mounted medical rail according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Ensure the clamp is tightened so the light assembly is stable and cannot move unintentionally.
Connect the plug-top power supply to the light and then to a suitable mains outlet (typically 100–240 V AC, 50/60 Hz).
Switch the light on using the integrated control and adjust the light intensity as required (usually via a variable control on the unit).
Use the flexible gooseneck and pivot base to position the light-head so the beam is centred on the area to be examined.
Avoid looking directly into the beam and position the light to minimise glare for the patient.
After use, switch the light off and, if required by local procedures, unplug from the mains and clean the BioProtect-coated surfaces according to manufacturer and infection-control guidance.
