Description
NEOSTRATA Restore PHA Facial Cleanser is a dermatologist-developed, soap-free, non-foaming gel facial wash containing 4% Polyhydroxy Acid (Gluconolactone). It gently cleanses and removes makeup and impurities while providing mild exfoliation and helping to support the skin’s moisture barrier. The formula is fragrance-free and designed for dry, sensitive and reactive skin, including post-procedure and aesthetics patients, and is also used to gently cleanse the skin prior to NEOSTRATA ProSystem chemical peels.

Usage
Use morning and evening as part of a daily skincare routine or as directed by a skincare professional.
Apply a moderate amount of the gel cleanser to wet skin on the face (and neck if desired).
Gently massage using circular motions, avoiding direct contact with the eyes.
Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat skin dry with a clean towel.
Follow with appropriate toner, serum, moisturizer and SPF (AM) or treatment products as recommended.
For pre-peel or professional use: cleanse the skin thoroughly with PHA Facial Cleanser to remove makeup, oil and debris before applying NEOSTRATA ProSystem peels, according to clinic protocol.
If irritation occurs, reduce frequency of use or discontinue and consult a healthcare professional.
Contraindications
Known hypersensitivity or allergy to Gluconolactone, Polyhydroxy Acids (PHAs) or any of the listed ingredients (including parabens, cocamidopropyl betaine or sodium laureth sulfate).
Do not use on broken, actively inflamed or severely compromised skin unless directed by a healthcare professional.
Use with caution immediately after medium or deep peels, ablative laser or other intensive procedures until the treating clinician confirms that the skin barrier has adequately recovered.
Discontinue use and seek medical advice if persistent redness, burning, stinging, swelling or rash occurs.
Adverse Effects
Generally well tolerated; transient mild tingling or stinging may occur, especially on compromised or highly sensitive skin.
Possible mild dryness, tightness or flakiness if overused or combined with other exfoliating products.
In rare cases, contact dermatitis, redness or irritation may occur in individuals sensitive to one or more ingredients (e.g. surfactants or preservatives).
