Description

The Linak Jumbo Charging Station is an external charger and docking cradle designed for use with Linak battery-operated Plinth Medical couches that utilise the LINAK JUMBO battery system. Supplied as a spare or replacement accessory, it provides a dedicated station where the removable JUMBO battery pack can be docked and recharged when not in use on the couch. The wall- or surface-mounted charging station helps ensure that a fully charged battery is always available, supporting uninterrupted operation of electrically powered couches in clinical environments.

Usage

Install the charging station in a dry, ventilated indoor location in accordance with local electrical and safety regulations.
Mount the unit securely to a wall or other suitable surface using the supplied bracket or base and fixings, ensuring the docking slot is easily accessible.
Connect the mains lead to the charger and then to a suitable mains outlet of the correct voltage and frequency as specified on the charger rating label.
Verify that any power or status indicators on the charger illuminate correctly when powered.
To charge, remove the LINAK JUMBO battery pack from the couch and dock it into the charging station as directed by the battery/charger markings.
Allow the battery to remain on charge until the charger indicates that charging is complete (according to the charger’s indicator lights or instructions).
Ensure only compatible LINAK JUMBO batteries are charged and do not attempt to charge damaged or visibly defective battery packs.
Unplug the charger from the mains before carrying out cleaning or if the unit will not be used for an extended period.
Clean the exterior surfaces with a soft cloth lightly moistened with a suitable cleaner or disinfectant; do not immerse the charger or expose it to excessive moisture.

Contraindications
